I was petting one of them but didn't open it up to examine the pattern, it was really soft like the cashmere shawls, BUT... it was HEAVY!! probably because of all the beading, so I didn't bother opening them up. I was thinking what's going to happen when it's folded up and the beading gets rubbed against the cashmere, wouldn't that create a lot of runs and pulls???
You would be so proud of me CG~~ I came home empty handedDH and I didn't have to wait in line to get in at 2PM, but the line to pay was sooo long and was not moving at all. I was going to get a couple of scarf rings and some pochette and scarves but didn't really feel I HAD to have them. I'm so glad I didn't take DH up on his offer to line up for me at 8AM~~ But I might go back tomorrow when the crowd dies down

It is too bad Hermes cannot conduct the sale at a better location like Barney's Warehouse Sale- the line and the windowless atmosphere are a bit much and if you are at all prone to clostrophobia as I am, it can put you over the edge. It's not like there aren't beaucoup hotels with ballrooms nearby in BH. It doesn't make any difference if you go early either- there is always a line to pay. You can almost count on glitches and computers going down or customers mulling over last minute decisions at the register. I guess on the positive side, I have met some very nice people in line.
