I did some impulse shopping and bought a rockie from Barney's Coop today ($725)!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1365822147.649348.jpg

I've been wanting a new everyday bag and was eyeing the Givenchy Pandora but I couldn't justify the price bc I'm in grad school :/

I have to say I'm impressed with the quality of leather so far. It seems less delicate than other bags like Balenciaga and miu miu, I'm not worried about scratching the leather as much. I also love the look of the smooth leather over the pebble, it's so much softer too.

Anyone know if the pale gold studs change color over time or chip?Wondering how careful I need to be. Also how do I keep the studs shiny?

Just got my lilac rockie today and I absolutely LOVE it! It's a very nice neutral, light grey. Only thing I'm really worried about is the way they stitched on the leather piece that you attach the strap onto. It seems like it would break easily if you carry too much?

I've been carrying my Rockie almost everyday since before Christmas and the quality is great! I've had no piping issues or threads popping (Rockie has negative reviews on Nordstrom.com) I bought mine at Barney's Co-op. I only set my bag on the floor when I'm shopping and changing in a dressing room. The studs are also not scratched (I have the pale gold).

I think I will condition the leather soon only because I use it so much. I will be switching bags in the Summer time to something I can beat up, take to the beach, etc.

I will definitely be using my Rockie through this Fall/Winter as well. I love it. It thinks it a great medium size bag for me (5' 3")

I too am 5'3", and the Rocco was way too huge for me.
