The shoulder strap design is honestly a deal breaker for me. I have the Amanda double zip tote and cannot stand to carry it with the shoulder strap attached, just puts way too much strain on the leather interior.... And looks horrendous too with the lining being pulled inside out.

I see what you're saying but I knew I would prob never use the strap so wasn't an issue for me.

I do think that some of TB's bags have quality issues though which is why I refuse to pay full price for any of her bags.

I've read in a few places that the crossbody stap hook placement is really poor on these bags. I just ordered one and I would like to be able to wear it crossbody and not worry about it ripping. I had an idea to add grommets/eyelets on the sides of the bag (in between the two snaps) to be able to clip the strap there. Has anyone else tried this?
