how is the quality of this bag? does the stiff leather actually hold up? I just bought mine in luggage but would def return it if any of you guys have any problems with it eventually slouching

The quality is average.. i love the design though. The double zip is quite heavy even when empty, and if u carry things in it and use the sling, the leather that connects the sling and the bag will be strained. mine has started to tear a bit (used for about 10 times)

That is such a glaring design flaw for this big. I don't know why TB does not correct this issue with the long strap connection. Everyone complains about it. TB knows about it too - all the SA's acknowledge the problem.

I just bought my double zip tote in midnight sky last week. it's on a heavy side i would say but i really love the finish of the bag. The only thing that worries me is the joints to hook the shoulder straps where i'm really afraid it would tear my bag as it seems a little flimsy..

Came online to tell u all that... my double zip tote shoulder straps finally ripped!!
Was always kindda wary of using it cos the design made it seem like the strap wasnt secured properly. and the only thing holding it up was the leather it was sewn on.

Lo and behold, it finally ripped today!! what's the point of a shoulder strap when it's not sturdy enough to carry the weight of the bags + some things in it??

I just got the Purple double zip (the sale last week was making it almost 50% off). ToryBurch.com I must say not only delivers fast, but with the most beautiful wrapping and boxing. You feel like you bought a $1500 bag. It is perfect and not heavy (and I load my bags)....its a great size too- doesnt look like luggage but its too purse-y and small. I will NOT be using the long strap for over the shoulder just because I already know it will rip and not hold. So as long as I know that, I just avoid the issue and never attach it. I got many compliments already the first day bringing it out!

Hi all, can somebody explain to me does the robinson double zip tote have 2 sizes? Because i nvr have a TB bag before and im confused that there are some TB robinson mini double zip tote floating around but i couldn't find any at TB store, they only have the large version which is too big for my petite frame. TIA:cool:

I have been wanting to invest in a more expensive bag for a while now. I recently stumbled across the Tory Buch double zip robinson tote on theoutnet.com for 50% off. I am debating about getting it, but with the mixed reviews, I'm not really sure if I want to splurge :/ Also, the only colour that it comes in is 'cow', which I'm not sure if I would like it. Does anyone own this bag in the 'cow' colour?

Hi everyone :) I went to a Tory Burch Outlet in Wrentham, MA last spring and purchased a Robinson Double Zip tote in Peach/Pinkish color. It didn't have tags so I got it at an even more discounted price. When I got home, I noticed that it smelled rather funky. Has anyone had a similar experience with their bag? They also gave me a dark blue dust bag that had no logo, wasn't sure if that was a common thing too. I love it but I did notice the strain on the bag when using the shoulder strap and I really didn't have much in there to begin with. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase and bought a Pink Mini Ella a couple of weeks later :) I am definitely a fan!
