Yes, he is a refugee orphan from Peru, he gets his name from Paddington Stn. His tag says "Please look after this bear, thank you". His suitcase is everything he owns.

Thank you! What about the red boots he's wearing in the artwork? I didn't see him wearing those in the link you sent. Why does he have a British accent if he's from Peru?

His Aunt Lucy aught him to speak perfect English.

Paddington was first written in 1958, his adoptee parents Mr. and Mrs. Brown, bought him the fashionable blue wool overcoat. He acquired red wellingtons later (from Dunlop in 1972) when he became '3D'.

Can't wear the same footwear for 50 years. Perhaps Alessandro Michele could send him a suitable new pair. Gucci have collaborated with everyone else.

There is now a bronze statue of Paddington at paddington Stn.

Paddington didn’t have wellies in the original book illustrations, where he wore a black coat and blue hat. Wellies were added to the first teddies in 1972, so that he could stand up. Later book illustrations showed him with red boots, a blue coat.

He speaks with a British accept because he learned English from Aunt Lucy, then spoke it actively in London when he lived with the Browns

ITA. I think it's a miracle that he managed without making a scene that long. Sometimes it was boring even for adults and he's just four. He left a few times, but maybe he should have been taken out a little earlier. It was lovely to see him with Wills and Charles though. Charles seems to be a happy grandparent.
Little Savanah Phillips seems to be a very lovely girl, helping out with her younger cousins. She was rocking Lena, trying to entertain Louis, getting on with all of them. It looked like a whole playschool at that balcony. The tiny August is beautiful too.

I have to disagree about George and Louis. George has a more even temper - just like Wills - and it will be helpful if he ever inherits the title and ends up on the throne. Someone mentioned that he's already a statesman. Maybe he should make less faces. As I see it, Louis will be an adorable enfant terrible, cause of headaches later on.
Yep, that's why I said I hope he doesn't wind up like Andrew or Haz. Obviously, these are young children, but I'm always fascinated by how their adults personalities can often be reflected upon and seen when they were very young. It goes without saying I know none of them personally, but I think George seems more serious, and already aware of the huge responsibility that will be placed on his shoulders some day. I can't imagine the pressure Charles and William have felt as well. I couldn't do it nor would I want it. Charlotte reminds me of Anne: confident, no BS, no taking crap from anyone, but very protective of her family and taking her role very seriously. Louis, while we all think his faces are cute right now, anyone remember the "cute" faces Haz made as a kid? Haz's behavior was actually pretty bratty and hasn't changed into adulthood. Louis will have many of the privileges and none of the responsibilities that George will have. I can see him also being a partier, ladies man, and possible nightmare spare as an adult. Thank goodness with the new laws, Charlotte is the first spare. Too bad Anne didn't have that role.

He’s a proper bear :hbeat:
Interesting he talks at all really, let alone the Queen's English
He learned these things from someone. I wonder who. “The Royal Family. They’re just like us!”
He does have an older brother. He, too, looks to have a sense of humor.
You all are making me nostalgic! My childhood was full of Paddington and fairy tales and many other children's books. Not having much growing up, they transported me to fabulous lives and dark jungles of Peru and London and all these lovely places.

Louis has two loving hands on parents and he is adorable let’s leave his parenting to his parents and keep out of it
