The Queen with her grandfather “Grandpa England” George V to you and me 
George V always feared his son David would abdicate and warned his second son Bertie he would have to take the throne - Bertie suffered the same lung “congestion” as George V ( both were heavy smokers) and George V feared he would not rule for long so he and Mary took measures to school Lilibet for her destiny as Queen from an early age - she was 10 when her father came to the throne in 1936 and was “ardently praying for a baby brother “ lol
