The horses in the procession are so gorgeous. I just had to say that lol. We all know the Queen loved horses of course.

The carefully strewn flowers lining the Windsor walk and in front of the castle - the detail in all this is amazing. Windsor looks beautiful. I can understand why the Queen sought refuge there from the hustle and bustle of London.
Emma, the late Philip horse was brought in to witness the procession in the Windsor castle.
I'm watching live and I see Tall Paul, the Queen's loyal footman who I think was also in the 2012 Olympics/James Bond video with the Queen and Daniel Craig. I watched that video again last night.
And the corgis were there ,too. I know one of them is Sandy but I’m not sure about the other one’s name.

In spite of London's reputation for gloomy weather, I can't recall bad weather for any royal procession. It was a rainy night when the Queen arrived at BP from Balmoral last week, but somehow that seemed appropriate.

At first I thought that was a current picture, but I believe it was a file photo. It said Getty Images and Andrew was in it. Unless you saw something different.

First I expected they might sing "God save the Queen" once again.
As I kind of last farewell.
So I paid special attention and listened closely.
And I heard them sing the real new hymn: "God save the KING!"
Better that way - because the line: "Long live our gracious Queen!" would not have sounded quite right.
