Ridiculous dillards return policy!!!

I think Dillard's is one of the few stores that does sales and returns this way. I actually really liked it when I worked there because I liked not getting a quota reduction for every return. I worked in the home department, so we had tons of returns!

i returned the clinique item today @ a different dillards. i asked about the policy and the SA straight up told me that the woman just didn't want to do the return for whatever reason.

I tried to return a jacket I got there a couple months before. It still had the tags on it but no recipet. First I went to the dept. I got it in, they acted like they had no idea how to return something w/no reciept so I had to go to customer service and they gave me the run around too. In the end I left with the jacket because they refused to let me return it even with the tags. My shopping there sharply went down after that.

^Every item sold in stores is supposed to have a yellow scan tag on it that records all the transaction data. No need for a receipt with that tag. Some people are just lazy and rediculous.

what bothered me the most was that the girl at the stand said she ran out of cards to put the refund on and told me to speak to the girl at clinique ONLY and to tell her what she is telling me and she should be able to put the refund on a gift card for me.

now that i think about it, sounds like the two girls running a scam?

well i called and i guess i spoke to the manager in charge today. all she said is that she would speak to the girl who worked that day and find out "what happened". i did mention how it all seemed so suspicious though
