We have very similar complexions as I too have yellow-toned skin but with pink mixed in so, although I can wear white, yellow or rose gold look best on me. I absolutely love the way your new earrings look with the bean too. As far as the size of the DBTY is concerned it really depends on whether you will pine after the larger one in the long run. I used to own the .08 in yellow gold (only sold it as have another diamond solitaire necklace which I wear more) and it was a lovely size - it looked much bigger than the carat weight suggests and was fantastic for layering. I think it would look really cute with your new earrings
