Any word of shipment on yours? I think we ordered the same day (last Monday). They finally billed to my cc, so hopefully that means it's been shipped.
Mine showed up today. Well, it is a beautiful bag, colors match the drill downs. But it has a spot in the front by one of the grommets. Looks like the suede is already balding and is a lighter color. This one is definitely going back. Now I have to decide to get another or not. Suede has always scared me anyway but this spot makes me see why I'm afraid of it.
How can the person packing the bag not see that? I dont think ppl care what they send.
You got to wonder...I bought something from another company, and it was final sale. Came with dents and pulls to the leather handle, plus some white stuff I couldn't figure out what it was. Contacted the customer service, and was allowed an exchange; however, by the time I shipped it back to them the there were no more stock. Then, I got a shipping notice. Few days later, guess what-they sent the same old defective item back to me.
If the one I had was fine, why would I even ask for an exchange in the first place? So had to call a second time, and the guy was very understanding; now I'd have to return it to back to them for a store credit. But seriously-all that hassle from an untrained employee who just couldn't care less! Feels like it's the same thing with Coach; everything depends on your luck of the draw. What a shame.
Definitely the color of mine. I agree. How could someone NOT see this?
Thanks for all of the pictures - I'm glad it's the correct color.... but ohhhh, that spot.. It looks like the cowhide had a thin, dry spot (poor old cow?). I too can't help but wonder why somebody didn't catch it. Even when it was being made - granted, they have to be mass produced - but some of the detail is done by hand - and with a spot as obvious as that, you'd think they would have tossed it, and moved on to another. If it were me, I'd try another one - I'm still waiting for mine. Credit card was billed, but no shipping notice yet.
Sorry yours isn't perfect! If you want one as desperately as I do..... go for it! Maybe suede is more temperamental - I got the Navy Suede Swagger - and first one had a huge spot, and handle indentations. I returned, got another, and it's perfect.
