Personally, I think the only way I would be happy with an different/unexpected color would be if the suede and leather handles were a deep dark and supple wine/blackcherry with gold hardware and trimmings.

Now that you've posted more pics, I'm not liking it as much. I much prefer the darker color from the stock picture.....
I agree. What a disappointment. Was just talking to my SA about this bag today. Glad I did not do a pre-order.
Someone just did a reveal in yesterday in mini reveal thread. Maybe check with her. Her suede and leather matches.

An aside, the CS rep I talked to in JAX actually had the bag. She said it came into JAX months ago - but it was only recently they got replenishment. I wonder if the lighter suede (not like the drill down) came in the first batch, and why it wasn't released?
I just ordered it so I hope it looks like the drill down and not the lighter color. My store had be matching wallet and it was dark like the drill down picture. It was really pretty.
