Beautiful drawstring bag and love the color! How's the strap on your shoulder? Is it comfortable and does it stay on the shoulder? I'm thinking of getting the navy hobo which has the same shoulder strap I believe.

I love the hobo!!!!!!!!! I actually thought about getting it instead of the drawstring. The only reasons I didn't are (a) I did like the way the back of the drawstring looks with the toggles all the way around and (b) in Canada the hobo is $895 and was only on sale for 25% off, so the $995 drawstring was actually cheaper at 40% off. I have no idea how MK sets their pricing and sales.

Anyway, since I handled them both a lot, I can tell you that the hobo fits beautifully on the shoulder and has really good access (the drawstring is a little harder to get into). I find these bags are a little heavier than what I normally wear because of the all the detailing and the gorgeous leather is NOT thin - but certainly not HEAVY. The shoulder strap is very comfy!! I am able to tuck the bag in under my arm if that makes sense so I find it stays perfectly fine. Shoulder bags that don't stay put drive me crazy!

What a gorgeous bag! 600 is alot to pay for a bag, but I think it is so worth it for that bag. That bag is very refined, but still retains a certain sportswear-esque feel that is common w/alot of MK bags. And the attention to detail is just wonderful.

I can't believe my luck - the navy drawstring became available today on NM website. I snatched it up & just got my email confirmation. It was 1/2 off, I also had purchased the Tonne Hobo in Hemp but I cancelled that order real quick when I saw the navy pop in. After a bad night, this has made my day. Must now purge my other navy bag (maybe).:nuts:

Modeling pics, pretty please? I'm still lusting after one of these, even though I'd have to resort to Ebay or Bon. So beautiful but I would love to see how it hangs and how the size works :) Thanks!

Believe it or not I haven't even used this yet!! I think I'll put it into rotation on Friday and do a modelling pic then. :smile1: This bag looks so much better IRL than in pics - the leather is so gorgeous.

Are you using your Tonne Drawstring yet, do you find the leather to be delicate? After much back and forth on colors (I'm sure NM is tired of my buying/returning) I have now decided on the Hemp (beige) Tonne Drawstring. The leather is totally amazing, it has sort of a mottled appearance and I am suddenly a sucker for beige bags. The navy was a solid color which was very nice but not for me. Even though it's light weight, the leather that is, the handle and drawstring hardware makes it kind of heavy. I think it would be for special occasions, not daily use. But I'm still worried about it being too delicate.

I have about 20 bags so I switch out on a weekly basis, I did use my drawstring recently and I don't really see the leather as being delicate - but it is luxurious and gorgeous, but not delicate. it is however a heavy bag, but since I only use bags for a week at a time, it's not that much of a concern. I did carry it around one night when DH and I ended up going downtown for a walk and I was finding it quite heavy.

BTW the beige in this bag is just beautiful.
