Reveal - Massaccesi Midi Selene Bespoke (Zipped Style)

Love this! I bought the Midi Selene in Bronze for my best friend and she adores it! I wish the zippered version were available at that time!

Thanks to the wonderful idea of the zippers , I shortly after seeing yours ,ordered a midi Selene in Bronzew/ Messenger strap, and no shoulder straps. I did not care if there were pockets or not, and when recieving the bag, I also thought the structure the zips added to the bag was fine!


But I think Marco must have elaborated a bit on your idea. The new midi Selenes have pockets behind the zippers..and lo and behold ..so did my Bronze!!


I was yesterday taking a closer look at the bag, unzipping it etc. , when I by chance realised, that there were pockets facing the sidepanels and not the centre , as I initally would have imagined!! Now this was a good surprice!

This is beyond fabulous bonniekir! Wow, I am floored!!!!!! I completely love this style as a messenger bag (and I imagine the pups love it when you are out with them and this beauty too, ha!)


I love the pairing of the Africa Bronze with the blue lining. I have that very same lining in my Burgundi Pebbled and I swoon over it every time I open my bag.

I am really really happy with this combo..and how the leather can wiithhold the way my bags are used. I will never ever intentionally misuse them..but bags need to be used..right?

Marco is a dang genius. LOVE those zips and the REAL pockets! I wish he'd had that feature when I got my bronze Selene. Reckon I'll just have to order another Selene! What color, what color, what color? Pocketbook choosing is really exhausting work.

Thanks Bonnie!! Sorry to hear that your wrist and ankle are not 100% . But this bag surely gets a grade of 100%!! It's lovely, but I would not have know that it was a Selene without the usual handles.

I hope you can glue your body back together again soon, my dearest Bon-Bon. I, too, am familiar with that sickening knowledge that I am going to fall down and get hurt when I try not to step on or otherwise disturb my dogs. But do they show the same consideration toward me? Oh, HELL no. Someone rings the doorbell or a bird flies by, and here comes the pack at a full run. You can try to move out of their path, but you will fail. You are going DOWN!

It was so nice of Marco to consider all your injuries and make that special Selene just for you. You have an orthopedic pocketbook. I'm so glad he made it comfortable for you! You couldn't have gotten SUCH a custom made bag anywhere else! Feel better, my sweet friend. Love you!

Oh my that leather I desperately need a small bag in this leather.
I admit the midi Selene never attracted my attention as a shoulder bag, but seeing it with functional zip pockets and as a messenger has opened my eyes! I would love to see it worn sometime, if you are able to post a mod pic at some point.

Well, this season, only the midi Selene is an option with pockets plus the zipper, so perhaps my bag was the first to be produced .I could also imagine it would take some time to plan to incorporate the pockets, so it would not look bulky in front. I only realised they were there, when playing with my bag!
