There were two other ideas, one was with a zipped front pocket but he said no to that as it was too removed from the original concept. Well you have a great eye! I am thinking I will get one this spring/summer. I think the zippers just make the bag for me. I like the Selene but I always thought it was missing something. You nailed it!

Okay, Merry Cherry! I will go first and ask for more hardware and see what he says! I promise to report! At the very least will have more things to laugh about! :yes:

BigCherry, thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous bag with us! I love it so much! The purple lining & gunmetal hardware were excellent choices. If there's not a similar one in the SS15 line I think I may have to bespoke it!

I am also late to the party but this is one gorgeous bag. I love love love what you did with the extra hardware. It adds such pzazz to the style. I also love the color leather it is such a great shade.

I must agree on the hardware of the silver and the gunmetal it is very similar.

I really like the Massaccessi hardware in comparison to the BE hardware. The BE gold was not something I would ever select got one bag with that hardware and never got it again. The Massaccesi gold hardware is gorgeous and my preference is silver HW. I have selected the gold on a couple of bags and it is really pretty. It also looks like the Massaccesi HW is going to hold up better it seems to be a much better quality.

Thanks to the wonderful idea of the zippers ;) , I shortly after seeing yours ,ordered a midi Selene in Bronzew/ Messenger strap, and no shoulder straps. I did not care if there were pockets or not, and when recieving the bag, I also thought the structure the zips added to the bag was fine!


But I think Marco must have elaborated a bit on your idea. The new midi Selenes have pockets behind the zippers..and lo and behold ..so did my Bronze!!


I was yesterday taking a closer look at the bag, unzipping it etc. , when I by chance realised, that there were pockets facing the sidepanels and not the centre , as I initally would have imagined!! Now this was a good surprice! :D

This is beyond fabulous bonniekir! :yahoo: Wow, I am floored!!!!!! I completely love this style as a messenger bag (and I imagine the pups love it when you are out with them and this beauty too, ha!)


I love the pairing of the Africa Bronze with the blue lining. I have that very same lining in my Burgundi Pebbled and I swoon over it every time I open my bag.
