Anyway, it's not absolute true love, but I am keeping her. The leather is the same that is used with the Rogue bag. As you can see the interior is red suede on this one.
It's not large, but spacious. It tapers to the bottom of the bag. The strap can be worn long, i.e. as a cross body, or doubled as shown in the photos, to be a shoulder bag, which I prefer. There is a separate section on the inside, which hopefully you can see in the one picture. That pocket goes the full length of the front of the bag. As you can see, there is an exterior back slip pouch / zip, exactly how it had been on the saddle bags made of the same leather. All is secured with the turn lock. You pull all the pieces together, and the turn lock easily closes the bag as seen in the first photo. This is the best I can do right now but wanted to get them out there. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Have you used this yet? If so how are you liking it, does it hold quite a bit. I can't wait to see mine.

Hi,
After debate, I've decided I will not be keeping it. Although its the yummy pebbled leather, its too stiff. Yes, it holds a lot but not efficiently IMO. The bottom of the bag is much narrower than the top & for me, its just not practical as I like to organize my stuff more east/west so there is a lot of useless space for me at the top. Although that large slip pocket that runs the front of the bag is unique, I didn't find it easy to access. I'd rather have seen some extra interior slip pockets. It just wasn't for me. That said, its well made & for those more used to this style of bag, I think you'll probably be pleased & really like it.
I really hope you like it & will be anxious to hear what you think!

Thanks for the info, mine is suppose to be here tomorrow..will let you know what I think.

I ordered in black pebble, picked it up yesterday. I loaded all of my stuff in and everything fits in its place but because of the way the bag tapers, I'd be rearranging every time I removed something and put it back in. I like that long top to bottom pocket but it just hangs open when the bag isn't shut especially if you put stuff in the slip pocket.
The leather is nice, the suede interior is nice and it's not a heavy bag, but it's not love, so it's packed to go back. The search continues...

I received mine in oxblood..love the leather and color, just not the bag..with my stuff in it and it closed the top opening puckers out..so it went back today..sad..cause I love the 1941 oxblood leather just haven't found a bag in that 1941 color that works for me. Wish we could call coach and design the bag we want and know would work for us.

Hello...me again on this bag...revisted.
So, if you read the thread, I'd been dying for this bag after having seen pics of it in some preview threads probably near a year ago. I got it & returned it, disappointed, as said above.
Fast forward to present...been wanting an easy hobo type bag I can throw over my shoulder, throw stuff into & go. This bag kept coming up in searches so I began to ponder. I contacted my SA & asked if they had black in stock...they did.
I went in & played with the one they had on display. It had softened from customer use over the holidays & was yummy. Had puddled some into a great relaxed shape.
Needless to say, I've been using this bag non-stop for a week. I didn't care for doubling the strap but found it was too long when fully extended. So, I added some holes & shortened the overall strap length so it hits perfectly by my hip. Love it. Just in the last week, its molded to my body & has started to really soften up. Some can say you shouldn't have to modify anything on a bag that is $500+ but if a slight modification can take me from like to love, its worth it, at least IMO.
I truly never did think I'd revisit this bag but am glad I did. Just wanted to share my 2nd opinion.

That's great! I think it's a very nice looking bag. Adding holes to a strap shouldn't scare anyone away down the road if you want to sell it. Enjoy!

Its the same hardware as on the Rogue. I know some have experienced issues with the hardware. I have 2 Rogues, the Rogue satchel & now this duffle & have not experienced any issues. Not to say it isn't happening because there have been posts & pictures otherwise. I can only say I have been fortunate to not have any, yet. That said, in this situation, I'd purchase from Coach directly as I think you'd have a better chance at getting any issues you could have resolved better than if you purchased thru a dept store. JMO though.

That's good advice, thanks! And I'm glad you haven't experienced any problems with your hardware.

The bag looks cute. Sorry it didn't work out in the end. I really like these types of convertible straps. It is the feature I love in my two Legacy Duffles from some years back (the zip top one with the rectangle base where the corners got worn out easily). I love being able to adjust from various crossbody lengths to doubling it up for shoulder carry. I also loved how the strap was wider so it would sit and stay put on my shoulders. I wish more bags were designed with this type of strap.
