Red Chanel bring us joy and such a great pop of color all year around. Personally (as a Red Chanel addicts... ) It cheer me up always and brighten my day up whenever bring it out. I often wear Red Chanel at least twice a week or even everyday - actually I often wear it with winter black dresses or coats.

I am anxiously waiting for the Coco Handle in red, my SA showed me one in black chevron but my heart didn't get excited at all....bummer, I was not a fan. I almost walked out with a beige double flap in caviar with gold hardware, but I decided to be patient and not just buy because I was at the boutique. I need to be READY for when the ONE arrives, right!?

Yes, You are right and I am glad to hear that you did not end up with other style at the boutique I know how important "heart sing and beat" when come to Chanel... I leant lessons myself for the special purses that I really felt heart beat when purchased....i still love them over 10 years later....

Besides being lazy when it comes to taking pics, I also royally suck at it. Besides, my collection is really nothing special. Just a bunch of boring classics, nothing fun. On the other hand, I remember that when you summed up all your bags, I frantically went looking for a "I bow down to you" emoji. Still haven't found one yet, but I have this feeling once you post your collection pic, that emoji will magically appear to me .

I had to try! hahaha maybe soon. I moved and now have a longer staircase maybe they can fit. I have no photography skill either and don't really participate on any forum or things like Instagram or whatever so I don't do those gorgeous magazine like photos like some members are able to generate. sometimes I feel apologetic to my chanels as I feel I don't do them justice at all!

I have decided to forget about the Coco Handle in red, and instead get a dark red from 17B, this red is just perfect for me. Having said that, I called my SA and she said that she did not have any it in stock, but that she could get it for me in a few days, since I was thinking of getting it in the Medium, I stopped by the boutique last night and tried on the medium for size. I have several Chanel totes, one Jumbo and a Boy, but no Mediums and had never tried it on. I did not like how the handbag looked like it was ridding up under my arm pit when I carried it on my shoulder, the chain length is the perfect length for me when carried single strand, but it cannot be carried cross body. I don't know, I just didn't like that the chain is so short, but the size was perfect. I then asked my SA to hunt down the jumbo in the red, I already have this size and I like it. My SA called this morning, she located the dark red in the jumbo, but I am thinking that it may be too much, too "obnoxious" in red? maybe I should get a mini? The problem is that I have never had a small handbag, have always been one to carry way too much with me, it wasn't until I started to purchase Chanels that I scaled down in the size department, and that was hard, getting used to the jumbo took a while...I want to use the handbag for every day use, for work, weekends, etc. Feeling like the mini may be too small for me...but think the jumbo is too much.

Since you are clearly a collector of minis, can you tell me your experience, do you carry a tote with you for those "just in case" items? or are your minis more of a dinner night accessory?

There's a discussion about this on the mini thread but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it here. Does your 17B red mini have a strange smell to it? I purchased both the 17B black and red minis. The black smells like real leather, but the red smells like plastic and it's quite strong..

Hi @Mochibunnyy, Yes no worries, you're not alone. I noticed the difference of some kind of chemical smell on my 14B Red mini as well when received and opened the Chanel box which I've never had with my other Chanel minis...
Actually I remember my friend @Chanel7Chanel sent me a message and asking me same thing when she got hers that she doubted the same as you do not real calfskin? said her 14B red mini smells something strong bad chemical... hope she can help chatting more with you. I think mine is not that bad though, it is definitely different from my other Chanel's leathers and was wondering how Chanel made this season's Red leather...

I totally understand your dilemma. It's hard that we cannot compare them at same time. I wish Chanel has all the sizes and color in stock at once in front of you so that would be easier to make decision...
In my personal preference and experience, Mini is the most fun Chanel and great for daily or going out, travel and it's so functional So I highly encourage you to find 14B Red mini while your SA can still track down Especially colorful mini is such a fun pop and not overwhelm on any type of heights / figures
Personally I love M/L size Classic flap and their looks the best in my Chanel. I love their single chain hanging from the shoulder as an elegant style of Classic flap. To me amount of M/L and Mini is not too big difference. I own Jumbos and fits great amount in them and they're gorgeous but I'm petit and haven't wore them much for overwhelm my frame and too heavy for me. If you're a taller lady, I think this 14B Red Jumbo is very gorgeous and attractive.
As you know...I am an addict to Chanel Reds and Minis... I wear Red minis most often daily so couldn't pass this setting of 14B mini (its caviar mini again though I really love Lambskin the best )
That's said, I hope you can find the best one that makes you happy most, and hope 14B red mini makes you happier and enjoy wearing I can't wait to hear your most happy voice. Please share here again your decision and excitement

Please forgive my silly mistake writing in hurry last night... I do this silly mistake so often in real life and I wish I could edit but its too late... Silly me I don't know why I made such mistake?! Maybe I was still in vacation mood with my sleepy head or just thinking how I love using my 14C red mini so often or just adore sweet @Kendie26 her 14B Red lamb ML so much...that's why...? To @Mochibunnyy, Yeah....I was same as you on dark red 17b mini. I really love this dark red color but was struggling with this season's leather smells like plastic leather and strong chemical in it and I even doubted its made in Italy or is it real leather or just cheep leather. So I don't blame you even if you doubted authenticity for this leather. My long term SAs even noticed that strange smells too and said leather is so stiff and chains is thick and heavier than past season's, but they're sales ladies for their income in the end and did not go over this type of conversation of course. I heard some rumor from a few TPF members last year in private chats that in fact Chanel has factory for Chanel bags in China now?? I was just wondering if that's true or just rumor but i have no idea..sigh
