I think it's much harder to tell with newer models - fakes are now such big business :-s

really? you think so? well, youre right lol. but the serial tag/number is the key. but down to that, is sometimes hard.

As soon as I received them, filed for a refund.
The seller (o p t i c 247) was offended of course
but I have already tried these on many many
times at Nordstrom's, Gucci at South Coast and
Sunglass Hut. I was fooled into thinking the
seller was located in New York by the auction
listings but found out too late that they are
located in Israel and these were shipped
from there. (read more below)
Paid $160. (retails for $325+tx)

This "Beige model 3155 RVS FM" should be
a cream/off white/pearlish color.

What I got instead was a drab gray khaki color.

The uneven enamel and "gaps" of the plastic
arms to frame speaks for itself. This model
sells on EBay often and this "copied" color
is a very sad attempt!! We were only provided
with stock photos, so I'm afraid people are
sold these pieces of illegal counterfeit junk!!
Their 800# no one ever picks up and a foreign
v/m will pick up after 15 or so rings. Their Paypal
phone number is international.

That's what I get for trying to save $.
Lesson learned- the hard way!

Please, please, please join me in reporting this fake - I have just returned it to the seller after a ebay dispute as is was fake. In addition to selling a fake bag she is a rude seller who insulted my intelligence, insulted the purse forum and insisted the bag was genuine - yet refused every suggestion of mine to get it professionally authenticated!

She has even re-listed the bag at a higher price then last time!

I am leaving negative feedback to warn any other potential buyers.
