Replica, is it ok to return s bag & write replica inside it?

You think the Real Real is safer? They are full of fakes. I think that is worse because people are lulled into a false sense of security, thinking the site preauthenticates their items. They don't. If you get a fake and complain about it, they will give you a refund and then put it back up for sale. They never remove fakes from their site when they are informed.

I’m not a fan of The Real-Real, however, I do know that from my experience if a fake is spotted and reported to them they will remove it. I was given a $50.00 site credit for doing so.
All these big consignment/reseller’s do have flaws from the too big too soon scenario and not enough knowledgeable staff.

You don't know it's counterfeit. You just know a BV boutique couldn't find the serial number. Even the boutique would not confirm it was a replica.
I would return, but not accuse the seller of selling a fake without written proof from a professional authenticator.

The BV boutique will not officially offer their opinion but they verbally told me the fact that the number does not exist means it is a replica.
I did also ask for help in the BV authentication thread but am not able to receive any help from the experts here. Not sure why but I was hoping they would provide some guidance or opinions but they haven't replied.
