If you regret it - return it because you will never use it. Something you adore will pop up.

You can go into any bank and open a Roth IRA - just ask the floor clerk at a desk to describe both types of IRA's for you. There are Traditional IRA's and Roth IRA's.

If this isn't for you right now (when young you tend to put off retirement, but young is the time to start - the banks have charts on how to retire on a million dollers and so forth); try paying car insurance ahead or paying off a credit card. That way, when the amazing purse calls your name you will have the extra money because the bills have been paid in advance.
 
I like the kate better but if you regret it, you can always return it. I'm not a US citizen but I work here with a working visa so I didn't start anything with retirement stuff. I do have an ING account and love it.
