Refunded confusion

So I ordered a chain strap of the RM site. They sent the wrong strap( pic 1).I called customer service. She sent me a return label and placed an order for the correct strap. The next day I took the wrong strap to ups for return. A week later the correct strap arrived( pic 2). This Wednesday I got an email saying I was issued a full refund. I’m confused. Anyone know how this works?

The refunded me and I have a new strap on my Jett boxy crossbody… right after that the strap disappeared from the site, and came back for the next sale. The customer service said the were mislabeled at the warehouse so I guess the pulled them to get them right. Love the new strap.
