I am loving the red but I'm really not a gold hardware person.

The paddy is gorgeous! But I'm still voting for the Speedy

I just bought a black Epi Passy GM--I think that size wouldn't look as great in red. BUT I saw the "regular" smaller Passy in red at the store--it's REALLY attractive. I think that'd be a great classic red bag. Unfortunately I can't find a photo--eluxury sold out of that size, so it's not popping up on their website...

You can still go look at the passy in both sizes and colours in the French LV site. Even though it's in French, should be no problem navigating the site because it's laid out just like the US one. Click on "Femme" then "Sacs de ville" then "Cuir Epi".

I'd say get a red epi Speedy or a Balenciaga in rouge if you can get your hands on one. I have both and the reds are absolutely gorgeous, and they are true reds. I'm not a fan of goldtone hardware either. My red epi Speedy has the palladium hardware, and it's beautiful!

look at the red chanel in caviar leather with the large "CC". it's a darker red but is a great bag!
