I am fairly new to the forum and I will be traveling to Paris and Cannes in August and would love to try my luck at the H stores. I have a really silly question...... if I make a purchase but later on see another bag that I love even more at a different H store, what can I do??? Would they exchange for me??? Thanks!
Those stores are HIGHLY sollicited for bags you know....
If you are lucky enough to get a bag, keep it .... If you extra lucky to get another one, keep it too !
This is so true boo...we were offerred something that was nice but did not buy because we thought France will give us something more delicious...came home empty handed and should have pounced on the initial offer at our first stop in Costa del Sol (28 rose shocking ostrich kelly)...but...timing and luck is everything and the hunt to add to Mrs. P's collection continues...word of advise...it's got to make your heart sing or else it's not the right one.

Duchess, thanks for asking. Actually, no, I didn't find a Birkin in Europe (either south of France or in London), though it was really fun to visit the shops. Although I'm only beginning my Hermes collection, I'm finding that I do better in the US. But, my trip was fantastic, nevertheless!
I think that H at Monte Carlo is the best. Nice has a lovely little store, but Monte Carlo had a VERY GOOD selection of bags, RTW and small leather accessories only a month ago... I was even offered a Birkin there, though I had bought quite a bit before that.
