MonteCarlo is the best in my experience ! Great inventory and nicest helpful SA. Definitely worth the trip.

AAN...Mrs. P's in tears...no bags for her...in Monte Carlo...they did have a 28 cm Kelly box in black and a rouge H kelly in 32 cm both gorgeous but was gone in two days and when we returned there was a gold kelly 28 cm. Mrs. P turned down the 32 Vert anis Kelly and 28 rose shocking in Puerta Banus (Costa del Sol) earlier in the vacation in hopes that a birkin will be there for her some where in France but NO to her dismay.
She did ended up with an iPhone holder, few scarves, and other small leather goods...the best store was Puerto Banus as they were the friendliest (thank you Miss Marbella) for that wonderful SA there. She was able to show un one 30 cm etoupe birkin which Mrs. P turned down as she is more a 35cm person.

Nonetheless, a great vacation. I really enjoyed Nice H as well as they offerred us a vert olive 32cm Kelly. Nice was so much fun for me and the family! I can see why you have a place there!! And thank you for your suggestion of the use of the apartment as it worked out very very well for us!

We found them to be the friendliest out of the bunch! The SA was just superb...scarves and small leather goods for Mrs. P.

Lots of huge travel HACs in many colors,,,gold, cafe, indigo and more...kellys black box and Rouge H and Later...gold kelly...we were treated quite distantly...maybe because I came in with an LV messenger bag rather than a Stevie...LOL but they too had a nice window display...in Monte Carlo...we saw Birkins out of the waazoo!!! It is Birkin and Kelly heaven and Cafe de Paris is great for car and people watching! It's hoot isn't it?

Hanging out in Cafe de Paris is quite a thrill for both bag watchers and car watchers alike...wouldn't you agree? And the ice cream creations at Cafe de Paris are to die for! I always never figure out if I was on the base corniche, the middle one of the upper one...but I always made it back to Nice (Vieux Town) for dinner!...with wine of course! AAN...thanks for everything again! PP...perhaps one day we can meet up in Nice!
Oooh I loved Cafe de Paris - watched the GP from there a few weeks ago. As you have said, Monte Carlo is birkin heaven - from the amount I saw you would think they issued them to every other person on the way in. Sadly I was wrong (unless I was the other person) haha.

LOL, I had to re-post a couple of pics, all the memories are coming back to me - DD in Cafe de Paris (red berries twilly) and Eliselady (Brighton blue Birkin) and I outside the Casino - in front of an Hermes van, sadly it did not contain all our purchases! Lastly Eliselady and I in front of the H store. We went to the Grace Kelly Exhibition, here's the link to my old thread for the sneak pics taken by DD including Grace's original Kelly:

PP, did you get to loo at any of these cases, Harrods had the white one, botton right in your photo - the lining inside is amazing - it's Hubert de Watrigant's CHamps des Courses scarf design, a real work of art (wasted almost inside the case)
PoshHoney - you must have had poll position from a spectator's point of view at Cafe de Paris! I've nevr been to the SOuth of France for either the Grand Prix or the the Cannes Film Festival, one year maybe in the future...
