EviDenS de Beauté is also good and have a nice boutique in Paris.
Menard Embellir is Japanese, but worth paying attention. They have a salon in Paris, would like to get a treatment there, but my trips are very short, don't have enough time.

I had a lovely facial today featuring these products, my face feels SO good still! Have you tried any of the products?
I'm considering buying a few of the products my esthetician recommended.

@Swanky, do you remember which products your esthetician recommended.
Cleanser, serum, moisturizer, eye?
And if you care to share, what is your skin type? Are you dry, normal? What skin issues would you specifically
like to address if anti aging is one?

Thanks:biggrin:

I’ll have to go by spa to see which products, I left quickly!
I’m relatively dry, maybe a bit combo but mostly dry.
I think dryness and maybe dullness mainly, fine lines are starting to bother me

I’ll have to see name of facial but it was VERY hydrating and rich, 2 masks I think! I hated to shower later, I waited a few hours to let it absorb.

So'bio etic Firming Day Cream. I love this brand. Rose cream smells divine and is so thick that I use as my night cream. Deodorants without aluminium are also ok.

Bioregena Face Sunscreen Balm SPF50+ , this is my go to SPF for years now.

There is also an affordable brand called Yves Rocher . They have both skincare, makeup and perfume. They have their own shops in Europe.

I love Avene Cicalfate+ (restorative protective cream) when my skin is stressed and irritated. It works better for me than anything else out there .

The LaRoche Posay Cicaplast B5 balm also is quite good but for me I prefer the Avene.
I second AVÈNE! Especially for anyone with irritated, reactive, prone to redness skin… my skin is pretty normal but I still adore this range- reasonably well priced too.

My recent French skincare haul!

Haven’t had a chance to try everything yet but will update. Just tried the A313 retinol cream, or rather ointment. I did not expect it to be in an ointment base since the retinol creams in the U.S. typically are not. Interesting. The Caudalie resveratrol serum smells nice, I put it on my neck. The Embryolisse is supposed to be a good moisturizer and primer so I’ll try it under my makeup tomorrow. I believe the Cicaplast is supposed to be good for post procedure so I’ll try it next time I do laser. I use Anthelios regularly so looking forward to trying this formulation. And oh, I just realized it’s tinted!

I mix the cicaplast with A313 and makes it easier to spread on the face.

My haul this time in Ireland. Not checking a bag and also not in Paris so no citypharma *sigh*. But my main HGs I can’t get back in the states anyways.

- LRP with UVmune 400. The liquid one is great for summer and the hydrating one is amazing for the rest of the year. I normally have sensitive skin but the very light fragrance doesn’t cause any issues and smells wonderful.

-Cicablast. Overall amazing, especially when my skin randomly gets irritated from something.

When I was in Paris 2 years ago, I also picked up and now recommend:
- ialuset. Essentially a high concentration hyaluronic acid. I gave it to my mom to help with wrinkles and instructed her to put it on after a shower when skin is still damp. Then follow up with a thick moisturizer. Would not recommend using this with a retinol since skin needs to be completely dry for 20 minutes before retinol application. I’ve used it as well and noticed my skin feels plumper as well.

- embyolisse. Love the light fragrance and that it’s a multitasker (moisturizer, make up primer, make up remover, magic in a tube, etc)
