It is definitely classic, and I really like the shape and size! I'll have to do some research on this one! Thanks for the suggestion!I like the Hermès Garden Party, but it's possibly not "visually exciting" - it's pretty classic.

This Chanel tote is on my radar! Can you give us a modeling pic? I have been swayed into small bags in the last year, and do have stress in downsizing everything, so a small tote seems perfect. And! I will be in Paris this summer, so am hoping to see this tote, and if I love it, buy it. It really is one of the less expensive Chanel bags, but probably the most useful to me.Chanel Spring Summer 2017 has this tote:

I got the small version recently and loving it; the double handle is very useful. It is light, stylish, but discreet enough...

This must be a popular bag! I'm stalking it too! LOL! I plan to get ithe larger version (or some other similar black Chanel tote) when I go to Paris next week. This Chanel tote is on my radar! I would be very interested to know how good the stock is in Paris on all the Chanel totes, since you will be there soon. By the time I am there, a price increase will have taken effect, based on all I hear. This must be a popular bag! I'm stalking it too! LOL! I haven't had a chance to see this in person. Does it have a center zip compartment or is it just one open compartment with zipper & slip pocket on the sides. Having a center zip compartment is a hard requirement for me so fingers crossed.![]()
I'm happy to share pictures and intel when I get there. Why don't you watch a you tube video of the larger size tote? I watched one on the small size, and it was open inside, but did have side open and zip pockets, plus a really great organizer, which would be an asset.
On another note, I recently happened on the Faure le Page thread--I had never even heard of this brand before. It is touted as a better quality brand than Goyard, and very under the radar, but a 300 yr old brand. So when I am there I will seek out this store(on Rud Cambon) for a look-see.
The name of the bag is the CC box Tote, and it does not have a center zip section, based on the you tubes I have watched.

I don't know the name of this tote. I've only seen pics on TPF. Do you know the name. If it doesn't have the zip section I'll pass. I know exactly what works for me in a tote and won't settle ot the bag will frustrate me.
And thanks for the lead on Faure Le Page!
It's funny you mention the Garden Party. Although I have no need(and cannot afford, or don't want to afford) a Birkin or Kelly, the Garden Party is(relatively speaking) a reasonably priced Hermes, and only this past week did I think maybe I need one. I will not stand in line for hours in Paris waiting for a chance for a bag, but thought I could just roll the dice at the airport on the way home, check out the duty free Hermes shop, and if if if there was a Garden Party, in a beautiful color, buy it.Enjoying this thread since I'm always looking for a good work tote
I use a leather garden party most days. I love it but not ideal if you need to carry a laptop
I also find that large hobos can work as totes... So I also use a medium BV campagna too that holds a lot without looking too big
Considering a Longchamp Rousseau
I'm another one stalking that Chanel tote ... It's a great design but may be a little to flashy for my office... But then I could alley use it on weekends
Please let us know what you end up getting!

I did watch more you tubes of the CC Box tote and am really loving it. It is not as flashy as other Chanels, but yes, it could stir up some talk at work.
