Received an empty box from LV!!!

I read the previous posts with interest. I just had an item I ordered from Macys delivered in an empty box. In contrast with LV, Macys gave me an immediate, no questions asked, refund. In fact, they seemed very uninterested in going all Sherlock Holmes on this. I really wanted to know how this happened especially in this so-called low crime area!?!

Final update. After sending in photos of the box and the package, LV refunded me for the item. However, the customer service was somewhat lacking. The client services rep that I was dealing with called me to ask if I wanted the item or a refund and I told her that I wanted the item if it was available. She said she would call me later that day but I never hear from her again. I tried to text her and I left her a voicemail but she ghosted me. But at least I got my refund. I would have liked to talk to her and thank her for resolving the issue.

The package was also picked up at a UPS location because I missed the delivery.

I've now learned my lesson and an item that I ordered after this ordeal has gone to the store and will continue to go to the store from now on.

Hope this helps someone!
Hi, same thing just happened to me around a week ago. I went to collect my parcel from my local shop and after I got home, my LV parcel was empty! Frustrated and confused I called LV immediately and they had said that it takes 2 weeks for a reply, and I also had to send pictures of the package. This is my first time shopping from LV and it’s really frustrating. Any way you could help me to get my refund back aswell, please and thanks

Wow definitely something fishy going on with the packages and UPS... I have UPS my choice and stalked my UPS driver on the app. I hailed him down after he passed my house and went to my neighbor’s after following him on my app for four hours. He claimed he didn’t have my package, even when I showed him his truck clearly had it, since I was tracking him. He said nope. Fast forward five hours later, the same ups driver delivers my package. He claimed he met up with another UPS driver who had the package, they did an exchange, and he came to deliver it. All of that to me sounds kind of unbelievable. My package came intact but I had an awful feeling the first time around when he said he didn’t have it, that he intended to steal it.

Going through the same thing now, but with a twist. I ordered an SLG and received my LV shipping box from UPS. It had been resealed sloppily with clear packing tape. Even though LV required a signature, the box was left on my porch. I was home when it was delivered and retrieved the box from my porch right away. I thought it looked odd. When I opened the shipping box, it contained two empty SLG boxes and two receipt envelopes for two other customers. The actual receipts were taken out of the envelopes, but whoever took the receipts left behind the return shipping labels. As we know, the return shipping labels have the customers name, phone number and address in the upper left hand corner. The bottom left corner has the order number. I have relayed all of this information to LV and to UPS and also sent pics of everything. So far, UPS is saying they’re not liable. I have asked them to explain how I received return shipping labels for two other customers? I have not received a response. I reported all this on 8/12. LV says UPS has until 9/2 to make a decision. I hope LV makes this right since it does not appear UPS will accept responsibility. So frustrating and time consuming.

Omg that is a nightmare! Sorry to hear. If neither LV nor UPS take responsibility, you can file a claim with your CC company. Be sure to document everything.
