Received an empty box from LV!!!

i know UPS has started taking pictures of the boxes when they deliver them (i have seen Amazon and UPS drivers do this recently on my security camera) because people have been claiming to receive "tampered" boxes but secretly keeping them, thus getting a "free item" .. so i think if UPS denied the claim, they have probable proof. not to say people are lying, but is it possible that it was tampered by a stranger who was passing by and not by UPS ? If so, then UPS has fulfilled their service and therefore can deny the claim and now it'll be up to LV to take responsibility for theft if they insured the item.

That is correct!
There Is no way people tampered it and put emptied box back if it was delivered to her front door

Final update. After sending in photos of the box and the package, LV refunded me for the item. However, the customer service was somewhat lacking. The client services rep that I was dealing with called me to ask if I wanted the item or a refund and I told her that I wanted the item if it was available. She said she would call me later that day but I never hear from her again. I tried to text her and I left her a voicemail but she ghosted me. But at least I got my refund. I would have liked to talk to her and thank her for resolving the issue.

The package was also picked up at a UPS location because I missed the delivery.

I've now learned my lesson and an item that I ordered after this ordeal has gone to the store and will continue to go to the store from now on.

Hope this helps someone!

Good to know!
You missed delivered day (you did not mention that before), therefore whoever brought back did steal it and put back.

This happened to me today. I ordered the kirigami set and the box was clearly opened from the bottom and forcefully at that, everything was strewn about and they left only the large kirigami and took the med and small ones. They left the large kirigami outside the dustbag and everything. So upset

My T26 outside box came all beaten up and damaged. The corners were torn and severely damaged. The minute I looked at it, I knew something was wrong. The inside LV box was severely beaten up and damaged. However the actual item was OK and intact. But the envelope which held the receipt was all crumpled up. Something fishy. Someone is opening up packages and looking through it, IMO. I think this is happening after it leaves LV warehouse. Not to pintpoint fingers at anyone. But something fishy going on enroute from warehouse to customer. These are hard times and bringing out worst in people.Another thing, LV just throws the item in a box which doesn't fit. No padding, no tissue, no decent packaging. Its easy to open take the item and seal it back. Not luxury by any means. I have decided only to go into store to purchase. Even if I have to wait.

i have the same issue. i live in Canada too. i ordered a neonoe and a victorine wallet. i received the neonoe on the 11th of august and my victorine wallet was to be delivered the next day 12th. the box was empty and i gave it back to the UPS guy and refused to accept the delivery. filed a UPS claim and called LV immediately. LV took note and a claim was also opened. nothing yet and its really annoying. i will be calling LV tomorrow to air my displeasure. it have been way over 6 weeks now.

Terrible LV services. Your people need to post on Facebook, instagram, Twitter on their ceo page.

Hi, do you have any issues when you refused to accept the package from UPS? I start video myself when I open my delivery now ahhaha.. but am no youtuber, just for precaution from reading this form.

i noticed the box was as light as air and suspected something wasn't right and opened it immediately. found out it was empty and gave it back to the UPS guy as i can't receive and empty item. the mistake i made was not to video myself. now i don't bother sending packages home i ship to my closest store and pick up form their to avoid things like this happening again.

So sorry to hear this happened to you, the same happened to me but my whole parcel went missing. :-s They couldn’t locate it so they refunded me the money. I think lv should take away there postal address on there label as I think this is a big giveaway that the item is from LV
