I had the same problem with the Madison Minetta in Peach Rose -- I would see them online at Coach and they were in stock but by the time I called and ordered and they processed it -- they would be gone! I tried this 3 times finally my Coach store locally search all the stores and they found one in El Paso and promptly shipped it to me! It is very frustrating to see it "in stock" online and they say they ran out! Anyway the El Paso, TX Coach store saved the day!

okay, so this AMAZING manager called me back (yes, now he's amazing!)...he apologized and said there were no more, but, then he said "it's too bad you didn't want it in black because there are a lot of them in black at different stores", and I was like "UM, i ASKED for it in black and was told there was no black which was why i ordered the chestnut!", so he called the store (which happens to be in Massachusetts) and had them hold one...i called the store and they shipped it out today which means i'll have it tomorrow and for the aggravation he said there's a little bonus for you and he took 10% off the bag! so, i wrote to coach and gave his name and told them he gave me amazing customer service and they wrote back to say that they would tell him...happy ending! yay! and thanks for the support during my aggravation!!! and yes, i'll post pics when it gets here!!!

What a happy ending to your saga. I was reading through the thread, and came to this!

I really love that Pinnacle drawstring bag. The others, although lovely, don't match the Pinnacle. I can't wait to see your pictures. My favorite was the red, but I'd have happily had the black leather, too. And lucky you, getting the smaller one too.

Can't wait for your pictures. Congrats.

That's a great story!! Since you're local for some of us:graucho:, mind sharing which stores??
Merrimack outlet is great....they kinda know me there:graucho:......And, I've had awesome service in FP Salem, NH.
