I’ve been reviewing all my old photos. Dr Seo literally cut more skin off my eyes when there was no skin to cut! I look so weird now. I said not to cut any and he said after surgery when I knew something was wrong that he didn’t cut any. Complete lies! I’m just so broken for ever letting this butcher touch my face.

Hi, I've went through online consultations with Machimpyo for a rhinoplasty and saw your comment. Is there any updates to your case?

dr
There is one person I read on kakao who has paralysis from Dr. Seo. She went to get her overcorrected ptosis fixed and she said it's worse now and she can't move her upper lids to squint or frown. She looks permanently crazy. I feel lucky hooded eyes are all that happened to me, and that's sad. My eyes look so old now.
dr. seo from which clinic?

Yeah mine are a weird shape too. I think because they are so deep, it creates a rounder shape. Mine are like almost half circles compared to my almond shape eye.

Did you ever ask for your operative report. Mine was three sentences, it was a joke. It said no skin was excised, but I feel like I have less skin, which is devastating. I barely had any before
this is exactly what happened to me. probably worse because my doc not only excised alot of my skin but also fats. and i also have half circled eyes

@SilentPlastic I had severe dry eye from sclera overexposure and lagopthalmos (inability to fully close eyelids) My revision fixed that and had better than expected results in a reverse-epi. I also had a fat graft to address hollowing. Some of it has been absorbed, but I'd estimate it's still 35-40% more than what I had before. The said I need another round of fat graft because last time I had to return earlier than ideal for work and there was a lot of healing involved with the reverse-epi coming from Caucasian style eyes.
did the fats on your upper eyelid stayed?

Hi @libertysky what functionality? Happy that you have great results. That is what me n chanel is complaining, she is only 3 months out but hollowing. My left eye has abit thinning before but now its like a piece of cloth sitting there, i have to observe more changes when it sags. My right eye there's still fats but when touching it i can feel the hollowing. Before there's more fats supporting and not that high, not even near puffy looking, the lines are more neat.
So after surgery the shape change again to an even rounder shape.. Like it folds in deeper with less skin.. Now occasionally i have dry eyes and may grow pimples too, i have to apply lots of moisturizer. Especially my left eye it cant lubricate itself properly.

Because i have a wide face so any little shortening of the tail i observe a big change. The webbing.. Lets say the eyes r pulled more the center. Agree about aging since its 5 years out? I do notice some fat loss on forehead etc but wouldn't expect my eyes to hollow faster. really have to see it in real life and touch my eyelid to feel it...

this doesnt look bad at all..

Dr seo, this is the mess you created i see what dr can fix it. The crease is supposed to be a smooth lower line but you remove so much fats at the inner part the crease bends in, at the middle you fixate the crease at such a high point so nearing the end you make it curve in. When i lift my eyelid the outer portion is like glued (sewn down) it can't move (also the result of you removing so much fats). If you have left a little fat or even don't fixate the middle part of the crease at such a high point it won't result in this weird crease and shape. If this is also the way you want to do overcorrecte ptosis then it is really ugly.
Can you fix it if i go back to you, or how do people even trust you anymore. . Now who is more skilled than you to correct overcorrected ptosis, deep and depressed crease, overly rounded crease, fat graft. Can you see a big portion of skin is missing at the middle too that results in such a wide gap or is it fats? Can you explain it.
Before even if my eyes look rounded my eyes still look ok without compromising my lateral corner still fixed at a natural position, now you cause retraction too. The permanent 2 tail scarring that you give is so obvious anybody can see it, plus the unnatural curve at the middle portion eyelid. View attachment 5704615View attachment 5704616

I have researched on eyelid revision since 10 years ago and your eyes really doesnt look that bad. what i can see is your scarring might not be as smooth by looking at your right eye. anyway, i think your case could be fix easily if you really decided that you really need another revision because at least you still got skin and some fats. i dont even have extra skin or fats to work on. did you get a revision in the end? anyway hope everything went well for you.

You have no idea. He does this thing where the skin becomes grandma skin.. hers are like mine, the skin is flat and deflated. You won’t understand until it’s on your face. He sucks the youth out of eyes
i do understand. i had two surgeries and the second time my doc took way too much skin and way too much fats and left me sunken. i had the perfect amount of fats and skin. I have also been on here for 10 years, long enough to see many botched eyes. Hers is much easier to fix than many others, including me. Maybe its not perfect, but its not the worst..My first surgery was close to perfect but i was greedy...i ended up ruining it and 10 years after im still looking for a doctor to fix it. We really just dont know how things really arent that bad until we **** it up. im just saying, try not to focus so much on the problem if its not that bad, its only gonna cause more unnecessary mental stress and maybe lead to another surgery that she doesnt need. If she's lucky, sure, she'll get the perfect eyes she wanted (which i believe she still stand a chance for revision because its not horrible to begin with), but if shes not lucky...she'll wish she didnt try to fix it and realise it wasnt that bad.

Will do nose revision first, right now trying to avoid worrying about my eyes, thou the skin is thinning further n still flat as hell. Im in the kakao eyelid revision group so far feeling doubtful to almost every clinic in Korea. Thanks for the concern. Any dr you are keeping eye on for further revision?
The height of the nose will also change the look of the eyes and lift the skin together so only then can see how much worse can it look. It is really weird, the eyelid skin sinks deeper than my inner eye corner skin so you can imagine how sunken it is. It's the flatness that gives the illusion that the eyes look ok, normally the eyes start aging from the top where it sinks in but remains some volume at the bottom part eyelid.

You are right. I still don't understand how he can make it look like it is stapled to the face/suck into the face, it feels off from the natural eye frame, the whole structure changes. I can't look directly at people's eyes when talking, that feeling of guilt and shame and worry people will laugh at me. It kinda become part of my face where i think its normal and living life avoiding going out too often, i can still see so...how are you doing? Hope your life is fine and patiently researching for revision/found acceptance to drop it.

Can't agree more. How is it the multiple requests not to remove more skin/fats during consultation fall on deaf ears. So it's still our fault for doing it, how do we end up with more knowledge first before consulting with him, why do we need to consult him if he intends to hide the truth behind the scene, so he force himself to do something he shouldn't touch. He is paid for his professional knowledge n wisdom duh since it is said he is like the best in Korea for what. Why only a handful of us end up like this? Because when he was looking at our face thinking its gonna look good and others he spared? We didn't pick the right dr/the mistake of not asking too many drs?
He's gonna tell people it is us who wants more dramatic looking eyes. And those who r wrecked by previous drs with extreme medical condition I'm sorry and if dr seo helped you forgive us for criticising him.

How are you doing? How you found anyone for your revision?
