Really bad DES Revision by Dr Seo at Machimpyo

Hi @libertysky what functionality? Happy that you have great results. That is what me n chanel is complaining, she is only 3 months out but hollowing. My left eye has abit thinning before but now its like a piece of cloth sitting there, i have to observe more changes when it sags. My right eye there's still fats but when touching it i can feel the hollowing. Before there's more fats supporting and not that high, not even near puffy looking, the lines are more neat.
So after surgery the shape change again to an even rounder shape.. Like it folds in deeper with less skin.. Now occasionally i have dry eyes and may grow pimples too, i have to apply lots of moisturizer. Especially my left eye it cant lubricate itself properly.

Because i have a wide face so any little shortening of the tail i observe a big change. The webbing.. Lets say the eyes r pulled more the center. Agree about aging since its 5 years out? I do notice some fat loss on forehead etc but wouldn't expect my eyes to hollow faster. really have to see it in real life and touch my eyelid to feel it...

Thank you for sharing. I know what you mean and it’s so hard to put in words. It looks flat and deflated. One of my creases looks like yours, it’s deep when you lift your brows and the shape of the crease doesn’t match the eye shape when you lift brows due to the hallowness.

Honestly, you sounds like you work for him. No I’m not sharing my pics of my botched face for thousands of strangers to see. Clearly he’s messed up and botched a lot of eyes. I’ve talked to so many at this point. He NEVER checked my blinking. Never. On PF Dr Seo wrote he was in charge of noses at MVP, and not eyes. He wrote that himself.

No fat didn’t get “reabsorbed” in the matter of one day. I had plenty of fat, never had hollowed eyes before. This has nothing to do with aging and everything to do with poor skills. My eyelids were never uneven before, just too big and now one is double the size of the other… or did I just turn into Quasimodo overnight? He is a terrible revision surgeon, period. My eyes are worst than before. What he did was wrong.

They say eyes are window to the soul, now is fly to Seoul do revision then windows closed! @chanel1993 if you have any functional issue or looks super bad try ask them for refund.

When you know you know. I know my eyes are only get worse as mirco swelling goes down. I’d for a refund, but can’t even get them to respond back to me.

I also have 1 lazy eye. Not sure why he never ask, and me being stupid never do more research in ptosis surgery. He was more aggressive with my left eye thou..

He didn’t ask me anything either… I really feel so stupid. He just talked through his translator answering my questions and said “yes” a lot. I heard from an older patient of his he spoke English and didn’t have a translator a couple years ago. With me he pretended not to understand it.

@SilentPlastic I had severe dry eye from sclera overexposure and lagopthalmos (inability to fully close eyelids) My revision fixed that and had better than expected results in a reverse-epi. I also had a fat graft to address hollowing. Some of it has been absorbed, but I'd estimate it's still 35-40% more than what I had before. The said I need another round of fat graft because last time I had to return earlier than ideal for work and there was a lot of healing involved with the reverse-epi coming from Caucasian style eyes.

It is my fault.. but i didn't insist and he didnt reject or give any good advice. He straight away suggest ptosis. I didnt ask to open my eyes further either. . I said lower down..



So others can evaluate him properly and perhaps show you have enough knowledge to clarify things with him.

You’re the first person I’m hearing about him fat grafting to the eyes and being skilled at it. Must be a cruel joke that he would hollow out other people’s eyes.

Wow! Yeah your eyes are like mine. Mine are way worst, but your eyes looked full before, he does this weird thing and makes them look fat and old. I feel so deeply for you.

Was your lid static? I am wondering if he does something by making it dynamic that makes it look thin hallow and deep.

Thank you for sharing this. I pretty much had the exact same experience you did. Ghosted by his office, was told he could fix my eyes and "make them perfect" according to his translator. I knew something was wrong within days... as time goes on, my eyes get more and more hooded. I am so depressed. He needs to stay way from foreigners. His staff was fake nice, but I was so nervous and just wanted the best for my eyes that I didn't recognize it. I hope you're able to fix your eyes. I truly am.

How many months are you out? Will you seek another revision? Do you have any hollowing?

Didnt know too much that time i did it in Malaysia but looks like static ya, then it becomes dynamic i guess sigh.. Even if dynamic don't think it will look that hollow

I think more skin is cut off because only then there's the webbing and i can see more obvious cut line, its like red color mix with my skin color.. And litter white spots on top think its the oil glands (left eye). The upper lid is curved in in a weird shape. I don't see this in his photos?? My right eye goes deeper too but leave more fats, except the line becomes rounder and not symmetrical either

There are quite a few reviews regarding fat graft with him. To us it is like a forever nightmare
