Ready to buy -- should I order through elux or call a store?

don't order from LV store, cuz their return policy is horrible. 14 days return for store credit only.

elux has great return policy and you will get the LV box. i had to pay for sales tax when i ordered from elux.

the best is to order it from neiman marcus or department store with a great return policy if you are not certain you want the item. that way you can just return it to the store. i don't know if they have the box or not though.

actually, the only time i've ever received a box is with eluxury. when i buy from the LV store or department store IRL, they never give me a box. but then again, i've never asked.

I've ordered from Eluxury around 4 times and each time I got a dust bag and a LV box. They were always great, no complaints about them at all. I always order express shipping too, and I have always gotten it the next day!

You're a woman after my own heart! Once I ordered something that nice I would want it right away!

I can't even imagine sitting there for a week looking and hoping for my LV hehe.

Wow I looked on Elux and they have a 60 day return policy, not bad!

Thanks everybody! I talked to elux, 866-VUITTON and NM store last night and decided I'm ordering from elux. I really, really wanted my initials hot stamped into these purchases but I was assured that I can have them done at a later date. The store prefers that I am there in person to pick the color (even though I know I want gold) and the placement.

Plus, I've not seen these pieces in person and if for any reason I don't like them, I'm stuck if I hot stamp them!

I'm going to Chicago this summer and staying downtown at the Drake which is right across the street from LV so hopefully I'll be able to get them stamped then!!
