Thank you. I am usually such a practical person, but jewelry holds such excitement, emotion and mystery for me. My daughter's necklace has several meanings for me, because it is a necklace to celebrate her and a necklace that I will give to her one day. Even if she likes a different style of jewelry, I know that it will have sentimental meaning for her. When I am long gone, she can look at photos of me wearing it while I was pregnant with her and when she was a baby, and hopefully she can pass down some of my pieces to her own children when I am only a story of a quirky little woman who loved jewelry!
Oh Nicole how I love love love that you did this and wore the necklace throughout the pregnancy and birth. How incredibly meaningful and thoughtful. I was feeling super swollen and whale like during the last few weeks of my pregnancy that I took all jewelry off but now I’m thinking it would be super sweet to do what you did! :hbeat:

Sorry for the very late post reply, I’m catching up on these older posts since I’ve been MIA for so long!

Hi! It is so nice to have you back! 🥰

It’s a bit unusual for me, because I am typically the type to just throw something on when running out the house 5 minutes late, but for the birth of my 3 children I planned exactly which pieces of jewelry I wanted to wear. It is funny to see the photos because here I am having a baby all decked out in VCA, but I wanted to add symbolism to my favorite pieces and to connect them to my child’s story and honestly also to give me a little extra feeling of power and strength to get through it! I think it worked ❤️

Likewise I’m so happy to be back and be welcomed by a slew of eye candy especially from your museum-esque rare collection!

Honestly this is the best idea ever!! I’m thinking I’ll have to plan better for our future kids if we have any. Thank you for sharing your story, what a genius idea it is since I also love symbolic and meaningful jewelry. Only we know the story behind each piece but that’s what makes them so special and memorable :girlsigh:

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous collection (and great depth of knowledge!) with us, your modeling photos are always welcome and bring joy to my eyes 😍

Hello
I let here pictures I took trying on this magnificent letterwood 20 motif at Harrods yesterday. I didn't buy it although really beautiful were the woods (like leopard 🐆)... 20 motif isn't my favourite piece and the SA told me the wear and tear is about like malachite (what kept me off also, as I am a really clumsy person).
I also saw a 5 motif bracelet in a second hand shop in London : the woods were really dark almost blackened with time.

As I am in London and browsing every VCA boutique and second hand shop I also post a few more items :
After trying this piece twice in a year in a second hand shop, I couldn't resist and it will leave London with me
VA turquoise ring. Thanks for letting me share ...

I promised to post photos of the WG turquoise/lapis Lucky bracelet attached to the 10 Motif WG GMOP
necklace as an extender so long ago, but I kept waiting to take a photo out of house clothes. That day never came, so here it is worn with loungewear @missie1 along with a few more bonus pics (Sugilite in WG with its color variations, malachite magic bracelet worn on a necklace as an extender, alternating letterwood and hammered RG 10 motif, one center diamond ~25 years old hammered YG earrings, Turquoise YG magic pendant, LE alternating malachite and hammered YG 5 motif bracelet). More LE photos to be posted when I have a moment, maybe later this year knowing me!).
Talk about being late to the party. Wow these pieces are spectacular. Such rare beauties. Thank you for sharing these shots with us. I’m still not over the sugalite pendant. 😳. What a skilled and savvy collector you are. Feeling like some of these are one of one.
