Sounds like trouble to me too. I'm not positive about their taping schedule, but it seems live. When they talk about major headlining topics, they sound like they're talking about stuff as it happens/is happening, not past tense. Their information usually seems current. They also talk about less major topics that seem a day or two behind, so it's hard for me to tell if they are live or taped in advance.I’m worried there is trouble or there will be. Why take a job in LA when you live in London. Makes no sense. Is the Talk live or taped? Unless they work like The Real use to (tape Monday - Wednesday), this is a crazy decision.

Thanks for that. That's still a significant amount of time away to commute from California to London, but I'm not in their relationship. Hopefully it works out for them.I just looked it up:
The Talk is broadcast before a live studio audience at the CBS Studio Center in Studio City, California each Monday through Friday at 11 am Pacific Time, and airs live on most CBS owned-and-operated stations and affiliatesin the Eastern and Central United States at 2 pm Eastern Time; the program is broadcast on tape delay elsewhere from the Mountain Time Zone westward. The Friday shows are recorded on Thursday afternoons at 1 pm Pacific Time for broadcast the next day, and is taped before the studio audience in attendance for the earlier live Thursday broadcast.
