i thought about a karo, but am not sure what to use a karo for (since i don't use make up)?

A Karo also works great for the floaty stuff in your bag like tissues, pepper mints/gum, eye/sunglasses, chapstick, handcream,purfume samples, receipts/papers folded,GPS/Palm, etc...

I think there's a small clarisse on e-bay actually - I personally have the karo with me at all times - I have lipsticks, pen, dental floss, powder compact, and even my phone fits in there (and a tampon will too)....I prefer that to the clarisse...
