I used to have a P22 but rehomed it due to its colour (black). I now have a P18 - fits most things, including my Dogon long wallet - and I sometimes attach a strap to the bag if I want to go grocery shopping. I also have a L26 and L30. L26 is a great size and I find L30 a bit on the bulky side for me, but useful when travelling as you can thrown in quite a bit in the bag! I am now on a lookout for a P22 in bright happy colours!

What strap do you attach to your bag?
I hear you! I am not buying another black bag. Lol. I still go for neutral though, like beige and brown. I have yet to own a white bag. I know myself well, it’s not going to last!

What bright happy colour are you looking for?

I am leaning towards Lindy 26 more than Picotin now. Lol. More practical for me as a mom with an active toddler.

Don't give up hope -- just keep checking your local site for a re-stock, and perhaps keep an eye on the Ebay/Web Hermes Finds thread as well!

Which country are you located in?
I am hesitant to buy online for something so expensive! And I have no way to check authenticity. Unless, it’s a reputable seller like Fashionphile with a good return policy. But, I did some calculations. With shipping, duties and taxes, I don’t save much by shopping there.

I am in Canada :). How about you?

I use the H sangle cavale 50mm strap - the shortest one at 70cm.
I would love a white bag but it would not be practical for me! I'm looking for either blue (bleu encre) or yellow (jaune ambre) - bright, happy colours! My current P18 is in anemone.
Good luck with your Lindy search - yes, L26 would be a great choice!

Good luck in the search of your bright happy colour of Picotin 22 too :smile:!

I actually meant shopping your local Hermes website if an in-person visit to the boutique is not an option at this time. The website does restock occasionally and should be no authenticity concerns with items purchased this way. It's not easy to spot a Lindy in size 26 in particular online, but not impossible either -- seems to be a similar situation in-store where I am, where smaller bags are more sought after compared to the larger size bags. Of course the in-store experience is another treat altogether, but being able to check product availability online anytime you want is super convenient!

All the best in your hunt!

Actually, the Hermes store re-opened with reduced hours. I may drop by to check it out! Thank you! I’ll keep hunting. I don’t mind pre-loved too, if I can find one in good condition.

A little late to reply, but I was able to purchase an etoupe picotin 22 on the US website in March. (I had it shipped to the store since it's near my office, but with lockdown it wound up being returned to the warehouse. The order was nearly cancelled, but thankfully they finally shipped it to my home - two months later... But I digress!)

I'm attaching a photo for reference. I'm nearly 5' 8" and don't think I'd go down to an 18, but I usually prefer bigger bags. I've been stalking the website since I decided I would like one in gold too, but I haven't seen many available lately. They do pop occasionally, but are gone in minutes.

PineappleMinnie - I am just like you searching for a Picotin 22 to fit long wallet and in a neutral color (would love a Vert Cypress!). My SA knows but Pico with our specs seems hard to get in my store (SF). She offered me Jaume last year but too bright for me. And I sadly passed on Bleu Encre as I just purchased a Kelly so timing wasn’t right. I don’t ever see Pico on Hermes site but I do check every few days now just in case. :) I have been checking Ann’s Fabulous Finds as well for pre loved. They only have Pico 26 currently. Let us know how your store visit goes and if you lean towards Pico or Lindy. Good luck!

I love both the Pico 22 and Lindy 26 :heart:, but I am leaning towards Lindy 26. Because it allows me to wear it crossbody and on my shoulder. From a practicality perspective, I’ll likely get more use out of Lindy. I have been looking at the official website, but no luck though. They have the Lindy 30, not 26. I also looked at Fashionphile, but the exchange rate, shipping, plus duties just mean I don’t get to save.

How do you attach a strap?

Hi Sheila! Congrats on your Picotin 22  Looks great on you!

I am also looking into getting a Picotin and am debating on the size :) Can it be carried over the shoulder?
