I had a pen mark on my Epi in Dune, tried alcohol and it did nothing except lighten the leather , luckily I did it only on a very small part with a cotton tip.

The pen mark was right in the middle of the bag so I was desperate to get it out. What did work was I placed a cotton pad dampened with water, left it overnight and the pen mark was much lighter. I repeated it until the pen mark was gone. It did slightly lighten the Epi but now with some use I can’t even tell where it was.

The cotton pad was soaked but not dripping wet and I think it works by absorbing the pen ink. The pen mark in my case was recent so I don’t know how well it would work if it’s an old mark.

Oh wow, very interesting. I would think with Epi, since it's coated, plain water would not work. Hopefully I never get an ink mark on my bags or slgs but if I do, I will give this a shot! Thanks for sharing! :)
