Untrue. Solid gold is a mixture of pure gold and other metals, while pure gold is 100% gold.
I mean it’s 99.9% pure because they usually have an infinitesimal amount of impurities. So technically it isn’t exactly 100% pure but it might as well be. 24 k indicates that is an alloy composed of only gold whereas 18 k is only 75% with a mix of other metals.

Same as I explained above on pg. 5. However, solid can be a mixture of other alloys, pure cannot.

Reactions: etudes and Mishella
I had a few negative experiences with Tiffany quality and with them being dishonest about their quality. Most recently, I bought a necklace and earring set with colored stones and diamonds. The SA verbally told me what the color and clarity of the diamonds were. I was very careful to ask, because I was not interested in going below a certain level.
The set was quite overpriced for the simple design, however I assumed I was paying for the quality I was promised.
However, when I received the documents from Tiffany stating the quality of the diamonds, they were a lot lower than the SA had told me. I called the SA to check and she still insisted that she was correct, until I read the details of the documents.
At that point, I returned the items.
I have to say I am very disappointed in both the lack of quality and lack of honesty.
This was not the first time with Tiffany and I've learned my lesson.
