I have two pairs of Stuart Weitzman pumps and they are really comfortable. I can wear my suede pumps all day, trekking to work, standing in the train, walking my dog, etc. I've had my pumps for about 2 years and I can say that the quality is very good.

I just got my second pair of SW's (my other ones are knee high boots that I LOVE LOVE LOVE) and I think they're working well. I wore them out and about for a night in Boston and they're very sexy and MODERATELY comfortable (I'm totally not used to heels!).

How are the purple ones working out for you? :) I love that color for fall...

i love the designs and comfort of SW, however since you want to keep the shoes for years and years as you said my here are my 2 cents: im now wary of buying suede shoes as the foot area always gets imprinted (with my foot) and when that happens i throw the shoe out as its ugly/annoying

So I went and bought them. I tried them on in the store again and took them home. They seem to be too big for me at home, with the slingback tightened enough so that it doesn't slip off my heel, my heel is at least 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch too short to reach the back of the shoe. I tried some inserts last night but it didn't help. I am going to try a 1/2 size smaller and hope that the toe box will still fit well. If not, they will go back.

The colour is sooo delicious though : ) They just look too big when they are on, the heel of the foot doesn't form a continuous line with the heel of the shoe. IMO too big looks just as bad as too small.

I think they are sooooo pretty. Im glad you are going to exchange them and try another size. I hope it works. Suede is a fussy material but it appears that you will wear them infrequently enough you wont have to worry about wear and tear as if it were an everyday shoe. Just make sure it doesnt hurt the little bones in your feet when you walk.

They are gourgeous!

I agree with the comments that they are a hit or miss. Personally I don't like their style - except for certain platforms, some of the pumps look old fashioned to me. The pumps tend to be very narrow even when the length works - I love pumps, so I've never really been into SW.

I love SW and they are go basics for work! I always buy the basic stilleto style, they are also Ivanka *****'s favorite shoe(you always see her with them on in different colors)

I find them comfy, I can walk in them all day and they look very polished and professional. I tend to shy away from slingbacks as they bother my heel and the sling always slips down.

I love my Stuart Weitzmans! I have several pairs and they are really comfortable. You really can't go wrong. I usually have to go a 1/2 size smaller than I do in other designers. I can't wait to see picts of your shoes. That purple is gorgeous!

Ok quality. I wear pumps every day pretty much and my SW pair is the one that the sole seperated from the toe of the shoe after 10 gentle office wears. I would not over spend on SW!

I probably have around 5 pairs of SW, and the only pair I ever sent back for reasons of comfort was a patent peep toe where the patent dug into my toe. All the other pumps I have purchased from SW have been really comfortable.
