Q: Is a 2.0ct Asscher cut ring too much for a left middle finger?

I worked with a magazine editor that wore a 1.5-2 carat emerald cut diamond on her right hand, but on her middle finger. It was a solitaire and I thought it worked fine.

I recognize the ring from the new QVC line of gray diamonique introduced this past weekend.

Let us know if it's pretty once you get it.

I was admiring it myself--I have posted before in these forums about looking for a nice asscher in a simulant. I was wondering if the grey color would be pretty, and look antique or just be kind of strange. I was waiting to see if feedback would be posted on it.

You made a mistake, though--its not the white gold asscher, its the epiphany line which is platinum plated silver. The new asscher in white gold is regular white diamonique.

You're right, I mixed it up with the white asscher cut ring that I'm drooling over. I wish my situation was different so I could get it as an engagement ring... maybe. Anyway, I'll try to post some pics when I get it, I hope it doesn't look gaudy.

I'm so wishy washy - I really can't stand rings on my right hand, since I'm a righty, and it would get in the way if I'm doing something. So my right hand is completely naked, while my left has a watch and a ring. I might open up to a tennis bracelet for my right wrist... in the future... maybe. :)

I feel the same way sometimes, so I usually only wear a ring on my right hand if I'm not going to be doing a lot with my hands. At work, I'll skip the right hand ring, but going out to dinner with my DH, I'll throw one on.

They are both gorgeous from the pics. Neither one had reviews yet last time I checked so I really would be curious to see what you think of either if you should get them (and to see pics).

Good luck with getting engaged soon, since that's what you want! It can be discouraging waiting, but as an old lady married 25 years (and happy) I can tell you, it's better to wait a little longer than to get married sooner to the WRONG one. Best to you.

There's nothing inappropriate about wearing it on your middle finger, so enjoy!

I've been wearing a lot of rings on my left ring finger; even those that look like wedding or engagement rings (because they're not comfortable on my right hand). But I plan never to marry again, either, so it doesn't really matter to me.

Looking at the reviews on QVC and the people who have bought this say its gorgeous and that it's realistic.
Not that I personally would want to kid people into thinking that my pretend jewelry was real, but I don't like going around wearing a very obvious fake, either. If that makes sense.
I'm still thinking about it, but haven't ordered yet because I tend to like the look, on my hands, of just a solitaire, without the added pave.
ARe you going to buy it? And tell us what you think?
