Q: Is a 2.0ct Asscher cut ring too much for a left middle finger?

I'm looking for rings for myself, and I came across a beautiful grey Asscher cut ring in 14k white gold for my middle finger. I'm not married, nor engaged, and I only wear rings on my left middle finger. It looks like an antique, but it also looks like an engagement ring. It's not a solitare.

Would a ring like this look stupid and/or innappropriate for a middle finger ring, or considering that it looks like an antique/grandmother's ring, I could play it off as such? I don't want to wear this on my left ring finger, since I want to preserve that finger for engagement/wedding rings.
Help and TIA! :)

I recognize the ring from the new QVC line of gray diamonique introduced this past weekend.

Let us know if it's pretty once you get it.

I was admiring it myself--I have posted before in these forums about looking for a nice asscher in a simulant. I was wondering if the grey color would be pretty, and look antique or just be kind of strange. I was waiting to see if feedback would be posted on it.

You made a mistake, though--its not the white gold asscher, its the epiphany line which is platinum plated silver. The new asscher in white gold is regular white diamonique.
