I love Prune bags. My BF brought me a prune bag from Bolivia. It is gorgeous very modern and chic. It's a wonderful bronze leather...not that brazen, shiney bronze either...very classy. I think if you go into a Prune store in SA, you could find more styles than offered online. But, after reading this blog and looking at Prune's site, I'll buy from them.

Thanks to all the Prune posts here.

I just bought 4 new Prune purses and can't wait until their arrival from Argentina.

I'll let everyone know if they're as great as the one I got from my friend in Bolivia.

Brand new here, picked up a barely used Prune handbag at thrift store today.
Typed in prune and got here. I am thrilled to learn that it is from Argentina, and will have a long happy lifte with me.
It is a med Birkin style croco in brown.
Not my usual style, but for under $5 I could not resist.
Thanks for info...cg

I have my first one 3 years ago when I went to visit my family in Argentina. They are awsome purses, some are leather and some fabric, you will notice that on the price. They have a facebook page if you want to check it out!!!!

I had one small shoulder bag some time ago. It is the thickest leather I have ever seen, quality is really good. But my bag was from ten years ago. I gave it away during closet sorting, in ten years my style has changed a bit... But it was a nice deep port color, liked it! Wish it was bigger size though.

The comments online suggest they're not hip or exclusive enough, but I liked it, particularly the style, and it was on sale for $130 cad (so pretty inexpensive after my bayswater/Jackie hobo splurge of 2016). Imagine my surprise when I went online and saw that I got it in store for about 1/10th of their usual bag costs online). Either I got a great deal or am having jetlag induced delusions!

And yup, the leather is as smooshy as my Tods.

Eta: delusional. Currency exchange says I only saved $500. But .. Still ... Not bad.
