Hey PPP,
well if you are bored from telecommuting, you better get over to that Hermes sale-when the goin' gets tough, the tough go Hermes shopping! Better than being stuck in a law office with bad jet lag trying to go through 1,000 + emails. Rather go Hermes shopping any day. Made it through 6 Hermes stores and they were all great. Really liked the Salzburg one the best, great selection and wonderful staff there. Saw 2 Birkins in the Wien and Prague store just in the case, 35 cm they were in Parchomon. Not as nice as Mrs. P's though. Bought a Blue Jean Carmen key ring, will try to put keys on it if I dont fall asleep. Only took disposable photos, have one of your PPP can, and have the PPP can for you also. The TSA wanted to "bust" it at Dulles, but I wouldnt let them. Will Fed Ex it to you later.
Hope you and Mrs. PPP and all the little PPP can make it to Wien when we have our next fourm meeting in September. If not, when are you coming down here to DC? I will take you all up to the Hill and we can go tot he Senators' Dining Room.

You are the best and Mrs. P and I were actually there over the weekend at Tyson's for some R and R and shopping therapy...did not see antyhing interesing at H there.

Thanks for the invite and one day we will take you up on it!!! Dad's putting on weight and in the last few days of his rehab so he id doing really good and thanks for asking.

Glad you had a nice trip...so many places to still see and people to meet!!! PP

:wtf: Those are fabulous prices. I hope I find out in advance if there's ever a sale in this area -- I was actually thinking of driving up to Philly to "visit the family" this weekend, but at this point I realize it's not a realistic option.

I went to the sale this morning. I thought it was okay, but personally I like the NY sale better, even though the NY sale isn't that great anymore. Does that even make any sense? :laugh:Anyway, I picked up some scarves $215 each as mentioned above and a cashmere scarf $660ish retail for $260, hippo cadenas for $175, H gold belt buckle for $141 (hope I didn't reverse those numbers -I'm typing this from memory and not looking at my receipt), a couple ties for $95 each, 2 towels for $57 each and a baby towel for $125. There was only 1 rack of ready to wear, difficult to get to as the belts were on the floor in front of the rack. Also, there was a very limited shoe selection. There was some leather jewelry and lots of silver rings. Lots of garden party bags and canvas make-up bags. The leather bags have already been mentioned above. The room that the sale is being held in is so tiny it's hard to avoid bumping into people. They could've picked a better location. Jill told me they would be replenishing the stock with the same items...no new items, but they're replenishing stock is dwindling. Hope this helps. Enjoy the sale everyone! :)

Hey, so I went twice, and it was very busy the first time and I only got the receipt that does not breakdown your purchase - which I really want for my reference. Would it be unreasonable to ask for the receipt?

Mrs. P and I returned for the BJ leash...to our dismay it was gone...glad it was you that ended up with it!!! It truly is beautiful and would have gone really well with Princess Pringles Blonde fur...now Princess Pringles have to settle with a chewed up LV leash! LOL!

Didn't Ninja Sue rocked the 25 Birkin! She sure made heads turn...swinging that baby like no other's business!! You go girl!!! I believe someone even asked her about the size and I heard a response "25".

Mrs. P and I still ended up with things that she can do without! ho Hummm....:flowers::flowers:

I just got back... got there for 10 am and was first in. Nice selections of bags (white bus/ trim/garden party etc), scarves, twillies, scarf rings (reduced the price from $80 to $50 while I was there), belts, nice pair of riding boots... well worth going.

glad to hear there is still inventory available. I dont think I can convince my DH to drive 2 1/2hrs though!

ninja sue: my bag was ALMOST 2X the size of yours minus 10 cm (and I HATE
MATH w/out a calculator)and darker!!!!!! PM me!!!!! You make that 25cm look AMAZING! is it ROUGE H ? A 25cm on ME which I do own well is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! with a BIG R
Mr. PPP: All I wanted was the dog carrier I almost cried when I saw that
couple walk out with it. Sorry about the leash, I have a brand new LV carrier which all furry family members look at in DISDAIN. Its a match to the chewed leash! I am sure The Princess does not want a SALE ITEM anyway.........
