Had to share my experience with tFP, I sure some of you were there...smile!

They were letting people in 5 at a time initially...then just replacing the same number of clients leaving with the same number for clients in. There was a wait...deps on what time to show up. I heard there was none in the PM. I waited close to an hour and wasted my allotted time.

Very small room...you may be shocked. It's almost as big as my wife's dressing room (and it's not that big!) and not really condusive to shopping...at least for me. I was in a bit of a time crunch as I thought 2 hours to check things out would be enough. Ended up having only 10 mins to shop due to previous engagements. Still ended up with small leather goods one was a Karo in H rouge, cadenas, scarves and scarf tie thingy...for Mrs. P...not bad haul for 10 mins in that small room.

Merchandise-wise: Better than NYC sale for those that got in the first day. Small leather goods, shoes, bags, bags, bags, ties, scarves, pet "supplies", housewares, bathrobes, shawls, bracelets, jewelry, clothing...and did I mention bags?....etc. I heard that the supplies will be replenished.

This is not your H boutique as far as service. No orange bags, no tying of boxes, some no boxes, etc. so be prepared.

Some clients knew which stuff to get. They were serious shoppers and had an eye for really nice things...I guess I am a newbie and not a real shopper...so what was I doing there? Trying to save money for mother's day but will probably still end up in Wall Street or Madison this weekend! OUCH!

For me, I guess I am not a true shopper, it was too small of a place with too much merchandise with only one (or two?) check out personnel. Nonetheless, it is quite a savings...so you decide. E_N_J_O_Y!!! Please go...you just don't know what you'll end up with. The savings ranged from 40-60%!

Petpringles, DQ and I must have been in line just a few people behind you! We ended up waiting for an entire hour in line. But, in the end, it was worth it.

As you said, the room was very small and absolutely crammed with goodies. There were tons of garden party totes and petite ceintures, Trims, one mini Trim (turquoise chevre), a mini Evelyne (cyclamen epsom), a mini vespa (marron fonce suede), white bus and white bus up in raisin chevre, a barenia briefcase (don't know the name), a gorgeous toile and havane leather omnibus, ebene (it could have been cocoan) berlingot, a few other briefcase type bags and three toile and leather market bags. Didn't get any of these.

They also had tons of belts, scarves, shoes, shawls, small leather goods, cadenas, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, leather fruit charms, towels, men's ties and RTW. They sure packed a lot into that small room!

I ended up buying two towels, three cashmere scarves, cashmere socks and a lavendar sachet. But, of course, since that wasn't enough, we then went to the mall for more Hermes retail therapy. It was a fun way to spend the day!

^^ I bought a silk 90cm carre for a lovely tPF member who was unable to attend yesterday and the price was $215. I bought also bought a 70cm cashmere and silk scarf that was marked down to $190.

Oops. I didn't buy any 90cm, and thought they said 255, not 215. I did get a mousseline changeant stole for around 265, marked down from over 600.
