Princess? or Round ? cut diamond earrings

Actually I have tried both of them...that's why I am more confused

round looked much better...but I love the princess cut

I don't want to buy and say should I have the other cut ?

I recenty upgraded from about 1 cttw rounds to 2.06 cttw brilliant rounds and LOVE them {ready for some 5 cttw now! LOL!}.
I'm too anal to get princess for my ears, I'd be checking them constantly making sure they weren't twsiting.

The round is easier to wear because if it turns it still looks the same. Squares will move and look uneven.

I often here this from my customers, I would def. say I sell brilliant cuts 3x more than princess cuts in earrings.

Rounds have more facets cut into them (58) versus princess (54), so round sparkles more. Princess looks larger because the table (top of the diamond) is larger. Round set in platinum is my first pick. White metal under diamonds make them look brighter. Yellow gold shows a yellow body color through the stone.

I LOVE it! It is a 1.25 carat colorless stone on a platium band, if you love the princess cut I'll love the radiant, it sparkles like a round!

I have both cuts. Princess cut in 2.5 kt(ea ear) and round in 2kt(ea ear). I tend to wear the round the most.

I like the Radiant Cut as well I am currently looking for an engagement Ring. I think that you should get Round over Princess. One because round is more classic and sparkles a lot more. However round vs. radiant, I think the Round is more classic but everyone has it and I think the Radiant is a little different and definately sparkly.
