I think she had to cancel the engagement party. I’m sure a lot of those invited didn’t want to be photographed anywhere near Andrew.

Another thing I was wondering about - Edo and his ex currently just switch off staying with their son in his (the son’s) house; I can’t see Bea continuing that if she has a child. Wonder what will happen then.

A small private wedding is probably not what she dreamed of, but she’s had a lot of great advantages in life and she might just need to get on with it. It’s supposed to be about the marriage, not the wedding day.

I kind of feel sorry for her that her dad is a pedo creep and all of this has timed itself right alongside what is supposed to be a very happy time in her life - now all anyone thinks of when it comes to her and the wedding is her dad.

Bad enough that her romantic life has not been easy for her - compounded by marrying some dude with a complicated co-parenting situation. Now her happy time having this ugly cloud hanging over it all.

I suspect this was not the dream she always had in mind for herself as princess. I suspect that this wedding probably won't last. I don't trust Edo very much but hope that I am wrong and somehow she gets a happily ever after.

It was Fergie and Andrew who pushed and pushed and agitated for Eugenie to have the full works wedding (still the BBC refused to cover it) - however it was said that Eugenie would’ve been quite happy to have had a smaller private do. It might be that Beatrice isn’t that bothered about a public wedding either.
I agree that it’s the marriage that matters though, I’ve known quite a few brides who get so wrapped up in wedding planning, they don’t think about what happens the day after it, and the day after that.....

I think Beatrice is ready to spit nails right about now if it's true that her wedding won't be televised. I think she wants all the trappings she thinks she's entitled to as a Princess. She, more than Eugenie seems to enjoy all the rights and privileges of being a royal Princess. Takes after her dad in that respect. We'll see I guess.

I am reading that a couple of outlets won't broadcast the wedding. If that happens to be the case, she can thank her dad for not getting all of her princess things.

I feel really sorry for her. It's not her fault that her dad is a douche, but seems to follow along with the string of luck she has in the romance department.

I truly hope Edo loves her 100% for her, and not for some part of who she is/connections. Because this could put a damper on the benefits to him of marrying into the royal family. It would be really sad to see them break up before they make it to the altar - has a wedding date even been officially announced yet? If not, is that unusual at this time?

I heard sometime in the summer and they are still looking for a place to have it.

I have to admit I don't really like her and to be honest I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for her (not very nice but that's how it is). This whole relationship with Edo seems so rushed and I am still wondering if he truly loves her or is/was looking for an opportunity.

I'm not British but I don't think her wedding would have near the level of interest to the public as Harry's or Charles and Diana, etc. and if this guy isn't sincere I hop she finds out before she marries him.

Even though the benefits are somewhat diminished, there are still lots of benefits, I think. I bet he goes nowhere for a while.

Now it's rumored that she may have her wedding at Buckingham palace. As a reward for her and her sister stepping up to fill the hole Harry and Megan left in the royal work. The royal family hasn't committed on the rumor but it's interesting to hear.

The wedding of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi
Published 7 February 2020
The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday 29 May 2020. The couple became engaged in Italy in September 2019.

Her Majesty The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.

The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

The Chapel Royal
The location for many Royal weddings and christenings the Chapel Royal, situated within the grounds of St James's Palace, is a busy working chapel. The Chapel holds regular services which are open to the general public, as well as hosting some unique Royal services.

Many Royal weddings have taken place in the Chapel, including that of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg on 10 February 1840. In 1893 the then Duke of York and Princess Victoria Mary of Teck (later King George V and Queen Mary) were married in the Chapel.

She's called off her wedding now because of COVID19 and may have it next year. I feel bad for her first her father's behaviour tainted her wedding and now this virus putting a stop too it for everyone's safety. I hate to say it but it's like two bad omens might be a sign from above that you shouldn't get married.
