I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Why is she smiling?? She's not talking to anyone! As a sports fanatic, I don't sit at games grinning randomly to myself as the game is going on. If you're there to actually watch the game that is. Everyone else seems like they're watching the court, while toxic waste knows there's a camera on her.

Before Harold, the Jumbotron wouldn’t have featured her. She’s thrilled.

LOL, one of my pet peeves is "I could care less". I keep correcting it to "I couldn't care less" because if you could care less, it means you care!
"I feel nausea" is another that drives me nuts. It's "nauseated" not "nausea". Good instead of well is often used incorrectly too. My kids have turned into little psycho grammar police as well, because DH is even worse! :P

Let me jump in here with my frustration with people who say “for all intensive purposes” instead of intents and purposes. Those purposes must be super concentrated! :lol:
