I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

My unpopular opinion - she was not, is not, will never be the main draw. As far as Haz was concerned, she was a means to an end. Haz [with Diana’s son fame and son of the King], he is the draw. For most royal men, the woman is there to serve him and his needs. It is the original male dominated family. Yes, the idea is old fashioned, anachronistic and disliked by most women, but that is what she signed on for.

I have turned in impeccable work (what's the saying...it's not bragging when you can back it up? ) before only to open the piece and see typos and factual mistakes the EDITOR added to it

My impression of the pap photos, Meghan is still working it for all she can, Harry isn’t bothering as much anymore. She’s all big smiles. He’s going through the motions and he seems grateful to be out.

I took notice that she wasn’t clinging to him like she used to. He didn’t wait for her to get out of the car like he would have before. The bloom is finally off the rose and the incessant lovey dovey performances are in the past.

I suspect that Charles will allow Andy Frogmore as a way of honoring his mother. It’s a royal property, there will be security, but it’s not as impressive and not a place to conduct business or lavish entertainment. Andy’s wings have been clipped, and his hopes and dreams for the future as well.

I doubt the despicable duo will get to stay at Frogmore Cottage for the Coronation. If a birthday party is planned there, then that will be the only time they are on the premises. I imagine security will be heavy to make sure they stay put and don’t do or take anything they are not supposed to. I doubt there will really be a birthday party though.
