I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Harry is already said to have requested items including an ornate ottoman bench and a chaise longue to be sent to California.

Astonishingly, Prince Andrew, 63, who has been stripped of his royal titles in disgrace, was last week offered their cottage as his new home by the Palace.

Royal Lodge to Frog Cot is quite a come down. Andrew put money into redoing things at RL years ago. I don’t doubt that Harry is not getting his lease renewed. I would definitely believe that. Andrew moving there is more doubtful for me.

As much as it would be fun, Andrew paid 1 mil gbp to lease Royal Lodge in 2004, as well as 7.5 mil to refurbish it. His lease is granted for 75 years. In other words, Charles would be paying a hefty amount to Andrew to get Andrew and Fergie to give up their home.

Now if it was Beatrice or Eugenie, it would make more sense - a country cottage 5 miles distance to the grandparents, ect

Agree, however *if true*, the optics of putting Andrew higher up the chain than H&M are... not great. Definitely not the most brilliant idea the palace ever had.
