I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Some of these I haven't seen before. There was one where Sparry was exchanging air kisses with someone and she was literally clawing him back. And still her stans praise her dignity and elegance :shrugs:

This is one of their only misses really because H constantly insists he can scold everyone about racial politics & equality because he’s got a biracial beard clutching his back.

My take with Wallis is if you want a horrible man you’ve got to at play horrible games and I have no doubt ‘David’ was a horrible man.

I listened to the ‘if jewellery could talk’ podcast & they were falling over themselves a bit to excuse her and say how lovely she was really & I don’t buy that completely. I mean it’s true she was scapegoated because David needed to go for fascist sympathies & a unfitting love was a good euphemism but we shouldn’t feel sorry for her for a second she wanted that creep & thought who cares about fascism if he buys Me jewels.

Right. I've also read that she basically got stuck with him and had always intended to go back to her, was it 2nd husband who she considered the love of her life. Well, don't cheat on the love of your life then? Problem solved.

Only because she had manners and could dress - two things Ghoul lacks completely - doesn't make her a great person.

The one where she stares ahead, not a glimmer, whilst shoving the man's (non-H) shoulder to remind him of his insignificance and let her pass (around 1min). No hand, just a stab with the wrist so she couldn't be accused of anything untoward, like O.M.G. :wtf: .

She is so f*cking rude. Like, I've sometimes stared at video footage of her behaviour with my mouth open because who does this? She is seriously not fit for polite company.

I googled Adele concert dates in May 2023 and found she is expected to sing in Europe around that time, dates not publicly announced, I did not bother to register to find out, they make it hard on you - perhaps countermeasures after the Taylor Swift ticket debacle ???
And Adele cancelled in Las Vegas in 2022, and people have not forgiven her
So, I give Adele a pass, I think she really has concert dates that cannot be rearranged, she is not avoiding KC3 ?
