I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Getting ready for the Duke of Sussex to be removed? He doesn't need it! He...is...PRINCE HARRY!

He better run and trademark that quickity quick so he can put it on coffee mugs, towels and back packs.

ETA: I hope he puts it on toilet tissue.

Oprah and Gayle (and M) set out to manipulate the public by engineering a media coup by feigning an accusation (they knew wasn't true) that locked into a real abhorrence (racism) felt, witnessed and experienced by many, and created a moral panic that saw an entire nation tarred with a brush unfairly and with no basis in truth and fuel for many that used the fake news for their own ends.

TRG - was not only analysing (or reanalysing) the interview from her POV and with the hindsight that we now have (int March 7, 2021) but making us aware of how they (O&G/CBS) set-up the story, used platforms, timing and biased commentary to set the agenda.

I would put Oprah in the same category as Martin Bashir for their journalistic integrity (as in - they have none). Don't know about Gayle (because I'm in the UK - we are more familiar with OW) - but that's what TRG said too, Gayle also used the fiasco to broaden and raise her public profile globally.

Re all of those talking heads: It's all about ratings babeee! They could care less if it is anyone's truth.

His photo op with Nicky Scott was to make Harry look good and like a climate activist. They both benefited from the picture. Considering that Scott is a grad of Eton and Cambridge, I can't imagine that they had much to talk about at Eton or anytime past that. Harry will "partner" and piggyback on anyone if it fits into his image of the moment. His PR people are probably thinking of ways to have him look as if he is moving past the criticism that he is receiving for his book. As much as they try, though, it has to hurt that he is being called out and being made fun of.

I agree, Harold doesn't seem to care much about hurting his family. Though, I think his anger is more about being a spare and not the heir. He seems to be using his mother's memory as a weapon in his revenge at not being the heir and, of course, to make money imo.

Prince Harry to speak at two-day summit, with tickets costing $1K each

The Duke of Sussex, 38, will attend the event in Nob Hill, San Francisco, on March 7 and 8 in his role as Chief Impact Officer for BetterUp, who are hosting the business summit.

It is not yet clear what Prince Harry, 38, will discuss during his appearance.
The royal appears in the line-up of speakers alongside a description that reads: 'Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a husband, father, humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist.'

Although the Duke of Sussex has not yet officially been listed on the event's agenda, he looks likely to be the event's closing keynote speaker.




It's not clear, because Meghan hasn't told him what to say yet. Under his bio, they left out a few things. Delusional overentitled A-hole.
